The Egyptian lawyer Mahmoud Shishtawy revealed updates on the case of his client, the popular singer Rahma Mohsen, who filed a complaint with the Attorney General against her ex-husband (Ahmed. F), accusing him of committing crimes of extortion and threats after he published private videos of them during their marriage without her knowledge, following her refusal to pay a sum of 3 million Egyptian pounds to prevent their release.

Extortion and Psychological Pressure

Shishtawy confirmed in a special statement to "Okaz" that his client has been subjected to severe psychological pressure due to the ongoing threats, noting that the relevant authorities have already begun investigating the complaint in preparation for taking the necessary legal actions against the accused.

New Threats

He added that his client received new threats using fake videos created with artificial intelligence techniques, aimed at pressuring her to withdraw the complaints and reports submitted, emphasizing that these attempts will not deter her from proceeding with the legal actions.

The Truth About Reconciliation

Shishtawy denied what has been circulated regarding a reconciliation session between Rahma Mohsen and her ex-husband, confirming that no official concession has taken place, and that the case is still before the judiciary, stating: "We trust in the justice of the Egyptian judiciary and the recovery of my client's rights by law."

On another note, Rahma Mohsen has overcome her recent crisis by holding a concert last Thursday at one of the famous nightlife venues, marking her first appearance after her recent illness and the leak of videos of her on social media platforms.

Rahma Mohsen is also preparing to embark on her first acting experience through the series "Ali Clay," starring the Egyptian artist Ahmed El Awady, which is scheduled to be aired in the Ramadan season of 2026.
