نعى مهرجان بورسعيد السينمائي الدولي مدير التصوير تيمور تيمور، الذي رحل في مشهد بطولي بعد أن أنقذ نجله، ضارباً أروع الأمثلة في التضحية والإيثار.
وعبر المهرجان عن خالص تعازيه لأسرته الكريمة ولزملائه ومحبيه، معلناً إطلاق «جائزة تيمور تيمور لأفضل تصوير سينمائي»، تخليداً لذكرى الراحل، ووفاءً وتقديراً لعطائه وإبداعه، وليبقى اسمه حاضراً في ذاكرة السينما المصرية والعربية.
وذكر المهرجان أن الراحل ترك بصمة فنية لا تُمحى، إذ أثرى بمواهبه المتعددة وأعماله المتميزة مجال السينما والدراما، سواء خلف الكاميرا كمدير تصوير بارع، أو أمامها كممثل موهوب ستظل إبداعاته شاهداً على إخلاصه وعطائه الكبير للفن.
ولم يكن تيمور تيمور مجرد فنان مبدع، بل كان إنساناً ملهماً يحظى بمحبة كل من حوله بفضل أخلاقه الكريمة وتعاملاته الراقية مع أصدقائه وزملائه، ليترك في القلوب ذكرى طيبة توازي عظم أثره الفني.
كما كان الراحل مصدر طاقة إيجابية لكل من حوله، ينشر الأمل والبهجة بين أصدقائه، ولم يتردد يوماً في دعم وتشجيع المواهب الفنية الجديدة، مؤمناً بقدراتهم وساعياً لفتح الأبواب أمامهم ليأخذوا مكانتهم في عالم الفن.
