قرر الفنان المصري أحمد عبدالعزيز، اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية ضد كل من أساء له عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي المختلفة، بعد أزمة عدم مصافحته شاباً في أحد المهرجانات الفنية.
وأكد أحمد عبدالعزيز خلال لقاء تلفزيوني، أنه كلف محاميه الخاص بحصر الحالات واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية حيالها، مشيراً إلى أنه فوجئ من ردود أفعال المتابعين على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي المختلفة، دون فهم الواقعة بالكامل.
وأوضح أحمد عبدالعزيز أنه لم يرفض السلام على الشاب كما تم التداول، وأن الواقعة تحولت لحالة من التشهير لشخصي، مضيفاً: «هناك حملات مدفوعة الأجر ضدي بغرض الابتزاز والتشهير».
وأصدر أحمد عبدالعزيز، أخيراً، بياناً يكشف حقيقة الواقعة في منشور عبر حسابه الشخصي على «فيسبوك»، وقال إن ما حدث كان سوء تفاهم لحظي، وليس كما تم تداوله أو فهمه من قبل البعض.
وكتب أحمد عبدالعزيز: «انتشر مؤخراً فيديو اتفهم غلط، على إني رفضت أصافح شاب من الجمهور. الحقيقة ان الموقف كان سريع جداً، وأنا كنت متأخر عن الفعالية وبجري علشان أركب الأسانسير وأطلع لمكان العرض، ولما شفته واقف افتكرت انه من المنظمين وبيفتح لي الطريق، مخدتش بالي انه بيمد إيده للمصافحة».
The Egyptian artist Ahmed Abdelaziz has decided to take legal action against anyone who has insulted him through various social media platforms, following the controversy of not shaking hands with a young man at one of the art festivals.
Ahmed Abdelaziz confirmed during a television interview that he has tasked his lawyer with documenting the cases and taking legal action regarding them, noting that he was surprised by the reactions of followers on different social media platforms, without fully understanding the incident.
Ahmed Abdelaziz clarified that he did not refuse to shake hands with the young man as was circulated, and that the incident has turned into a case of defamation against him, adding: "There are paid campaigns against me for the purpose of extortion and defamation."
Recently, Ahmed Abdelaziz issued a statement revealing the truth of the incident in a post on his personal account on "Facebook," stating that what happened was a momentary misunderstanding, and not as it has been circulated or understood by some.
Ahmed Abdelaziz wrote: "A video has recently circulated that was misunderstood, suggesting that I refused to shake hands with a young man from the audience. The truth is that the situation was very quick, and I was late for the event and was rushing to catch the elevator to go to the performance area, and when I saw him standing there, I thought he was one of the organizers opening the way for me; I didn’t realize he was extending his hand for a handshake."
