تقدّم الفنان الإماراتي حسين الجسمي، عبر وكيله القانوني المحامي محمد عثمان، ببلاغ رسمي إلى النائب العام في مصر ضد صاحب إحدى شركات الصوتيات، متهماً إياه بالتشهير والقذف والتزوير في أوراق رسمية، إضافة إلى إساءة استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بهدف ابتزازه وتحقيق مكاسب مالية غير مشروعة.
وبحسب البلاغ، فوجئ الجسمي في مايو الماضي بمنشورات عبر صفحة على «فيسبوك» يديرها المشكو في حقه، تتضمن عبارات مسيئة وادعاءات بسرقة لحن مملوك له، مرفقة بشهادة منسوبة لجمعية المؤلفين والملحنين تثبت هذه المزاعم. غير أن الجمعية، برئاسة الدكتور مدحت العدل، أكدت لاحقاً أن الشهادة مزورة، وتم التلاعب بها من قبل المتهم وأحد موظفيها، واتخذت إجراءات قانونية بحقهما.
وفي الـ5 من يونيو، تقدم وكيل الجسمي ببلاغ آخر إلى مباحث التوثيق والمعلومات بوزارة الداخلية، ضد الصفحة التي يديرها المتهم، وجرى استدعاؤه وفحص هاتفه المحمول، ليتبين وجود المنشورات المسيئة بحوزته، ما عزز الاتهامات الموجهة إليه، وفتح الباب أمام إجراءات قضائية قد تنتهي بإدانته.
The Emirati artist Hussein Al Jasmi, through his legal representative, lawyer Mohamed Othman, filed an official complaint with the Public Prosecutor in Egypt against the owner of one of the audio companies, accusing him of defamation, slander, and forgery of official documents, in addition to the misuse of social media to blackmail him and achieve illegal financial gains.
According to the complaint, Al Jasmi was surprised in May of last year by posts on a Facebook page managed by the accused, which included offensive phrases and allegations of stealing a melody owned by him, accompanied by a certificate attributed to the Association of Authors and Composers that purportedly supports these claims. However, the association, headed by Dr. Medhat Al Adl, later confirmed that the certificate was forged and had been manipulated by the accused and one of its employees, and legal action was taken against them.
On June 5, Al Jasmi's representative filed another complaint with the Documentation and Information Department of the Ministry of Interior against the page managed by the accused. He was summoned, and his mobile phone was examined, revealing the presence of the offensive posts in his possession, which reinforced the accusations against him and opened the door for legal proceedings that could lead to his conviction.
