أعربت الفنانة المصرية شيرين حبّها الكبير للبنان وثقتها بحكم أهلها فنياً قائلةً: «لبنان هو تكريم بحد ذاته، فكيف إذا جاءني التكريم من أهل لبنان أنفسهم، هم قاسون جداً في حكمهم على الفنان، لذا نيل التكريم والجائزة منهم يُعدّ مستحقاً ونجاحاً هائلاً».
وأكدت، خلال حضورها النسخة الثامنة من «مهرجان الزمن الجميل»، عدم خوفها من السفر إلى لبنان أبداً، منوّهة بوطنية الدكتور هراتش سغبازريان الذي دعاها.
ورداً على سؤال حول ذكرياتها في لبنان، أجابت: «هو حياتي. أختام الدخول إلى لبنان تملأ صفحات جواز سفري. ينقصني فقط أن آخذ الجنسية وشجرة الأرز».
The Egyptian artist Sherine expressed her great love for Lebanon and her trust in the judgment of its people artistically, saying: “Lebanon is an honor in itself, so how could it be if the honor comes from the people of Lebanon themselves? They are very strict in their judgment of artists, so receiving an award and recognition from them is considered deserved and a tremendous success.”
She confirmed, during her attendance at the eighth edition of the "Al-Zaman Al-Jamil Festival," that she is never afraid to travel to Lebanon, praising the patriotism of Dr. Haratch Sghabazarian who invited her.
In response to a question about her memories in Lebanon, she answered: “It is my life. The entry stamps to Lebanon fill the pages of my passport. All I need is to obtain citizenship and a cedar tree.”
