رحلت الممثلة الإيطالية الشهيرة ليا ماساري عن عالمنا في العاصمة الإيطالية روما عن عمر ناهز 91 عاماً، تاركة خلفها إرثاً سينمائياً غنياً امتد لعقود، وأُعلن عن وفاتها الأربعاء، وأُقيمت مراسم تشييعها في بلدة سوتري شمال روما الثلاثاء.
وأكدت وزيرة الدولة للشؤون الثقافية الإيطالية لوتشيا بورغونزوني الخبر، واصفة ماساري بأنها «ممثلة ذات جاذبية لا تُقاوم وموهبة مبهرة»، في تعبير عن الحزن العميق لفقدان واحدة من أيقونات السينما الإيطالية والأوروبية.
ولدت ليا ماساري، واسمها الحقيقي آنا ماريا ماساتاني، في روما عام 1933، وبدأت مسيرتها الفنية في منتصف الخمسينات، حيث أثبتت حضورها القوي في السينما الإيطالية والفرنسية، واختارت اسمها الفني «ليا» تكريماً لخطيبها الراحل ليو، الذي توفي في حادثة سيارة قبل زواجهما، وهو الحدث الذي أثر على شخصيتها الفنية، مضيفاً عمقاً عاطفياً لأدائها.
اشتهرت بأدوارها المميزة في أفلام مثل «لافينتورا» عام 1960 للمخرج مايكل أنجلو أنطونيوني، الذي عُد علامة فارقة في السينما الحديثة، و«لو سوفل أو كور» عام 1971 للمخرج لوي مال، كما تألقت إلى جانب النجم آلان ديلون في فيلمي «لانسومي» عام 1964، و«لا بريما نوتي دي كويتي» عام 1972.

Lea Massari, whose real name was Anna Maria Masatani, was born in Rome in 1933 and began her artistic career in the mid-1950s, where she established a strong presence in Italian and French cinema. She chose her stage name "Lea" in honor of her late fiancé Leo, who died in a car accident before their marriage, an event that profoundly affected her artistic personality, adding emotional depth to her performances.
She became famous for her distinctive roles in films such as "L'Avventura" in 1960, directed by Michelangelo Antonioni, which is considered a landmark in modern cinema, and "Le Souffle au Cœur" in 1971, directed by Louis Malle. She also shone alongside star Alain Delon in the films "L'Insoumis" in 1964 and "La Prima Notte di Quiete" in 1972.
