نفى مصدر قضائي مصري ما تردد عن ضبط مسؤول بالقضاء رفيع المستوى و8 ضباط بواقعة قضية المخدرات المتهم فيها الإعلامية المصرية سارة خليفة.
وقال: لا صحة لما تردد عن إجبار أحد أعضاء النيابة العامة على تقديم استقالته، وما تَبِعها من أخبارٍ بشأن ضبطه وعددٍ من ضباط الشرطة وتقييد حريتهم بزعم صلتهم بالتحقيقات التي تُجريها النيابة العامة بواقعة ضبط المتهمة سارة خليفة.
وأشار إلى أن عضو النيابة تقدم باستقالته طواعية لظروفٍ خاصة، لا تتصل بمهام عمله، ولا صحة لضبطه أو أي من ضباط الشرطة أو صدور أي قرارٍ يمس حُريتهم.
وذكر أنه جار تتبع كافة الحسابات والمواقع التي نشرت وأعادت نشر تلك الأخبار والتدوينات المُختلقة التي من شأنها تكدير الأمن والسلم العام، لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية الرادعة حيال القائمين عليها.
وكانت النيابة المصرية قد كشفت تفاصيل قضية تورط المذيعة سارة خليفة في الاتجار بالمخدرات، وكشفت أن التحريات أسفرت عن تكوين 7 أشخاص تشكيلاً عصابياً لجلب المواد المخدرة وتصنيعها بقصد الاتجار، مؤكدة أنه تم ضبط 4 منهم، وجرى ملاحقة 3 آخرين.
وأضافت أنه ضُبط بحوزة المتهمين كميات ضخمة من جوهر الحشيش الاصطناعي، ومبالغ مالية كبيرة من عملات أجنبية ومحلية، وبعض الهواتف المحمولة مما كان يستخدمها أعضاء التشكيل في نشاطهم الإجرامي، فضلًا عن عددٍ من السيارات التي تستخدم في نقل وترويج المواد المخدرة.
جاء هذا بعدما ذكرت التحريات من قبل أن المذيعة حاصلة على الشهادة الابتدائية فقط، ولم تستكمل تعليمها، ورغم ذلك عملت في المجال الإعلامي وقدمت عددًا من البرامج التلفزيونية بفضائيات عدة داخل وخارج مصر.
وكشفت المعلومات أن المذيعة كانت تتشارك في تجارة المخدرات مع آخرين، كما كانت تساعد في شراء المخدرات من خارج مصر وإعادة تصنيعها وتخليقها في البلاد، وبيعها بعد ذلك.
وتمكنت أجهزة الأمن المصرية من ضبط عدد من المتهمين من شركاء المذيعة وبحوزتهم كمية كبيرة من مخدر الحشيش الاصطناعي بلغت 200 كيلوغرام، كما تم ضبط المواد الخام والآلات والأدوات المستخدمة في خلط وتهيئة المواد المخدرة، وكذلك كمية من المشغولات الذهبية ومبالغ مالية عملات محلية وأجنبية، و5 سيارات من متحصلات نشاطهم الإجرامي.
وقدرت القيمة المالية للمواد المخدرة المضبوطة بنحو 420 مليون جنيه.
وضبطت السلطات المذيعة التي كانت خطيبة للاعب كرة دولي شهير لعب لناديي الزمالك والأهلي ومنتخب مصر، في أبريل الماضي داخل شقة في إحدى المناطق الراقية بالقاهرة، بعد وصول معلومات تفيد بتورطها في قضية الاتجار بالمواد المخدرة.
An Egyptian judicial source denied the rumors about the arrest of a high-ranking judicial official and 8 officers in the case involving the Egyptian media figure Sarah Khalifa, who is accused of drug trafficking.
He stated: There is no truth to the claims that a member of the Public Prosecution was forced to resign, nor to the subsequent news regarding his arrest along with several police officers and the restriction of their freedom under the pretext of their connection to the investigations being conducted by the Public Prosecution in the case of the accused Sarah Khalifa.
He pointed out that the member of the prosecution submitted his resignation voluntarily due to personal circumstances unrelated to his work duties, and there is no truth to his arrest or that of any police officers or the issuance of any decision affecting their freedom.
He mentioned that efforts are underway to track all accounts and websites that published and republished those fabricated news and posts that could disturb public security and peace, in order to take legal action against those responsible.
The Egyptian prosecution had revealed details of the case involving the broadcaster Sarah Khalifa in drug trafficking, indicating that investigations led to the formation of a criminal gang of 7 individuals to bring in and manufacture narcotic substances for the purpose of trafficking, confirming that 4 of them were arrested, while 3 others are being pursued.
It added that large quantities of synthetic hashish, significant amounts of foreign and local currency, and some mobile phones used by the gang members in their criminal activities were seized, in addition to several vehicles used for transporting and promoting narcotic substances.
This came after previous investigations indicated that the broadcaster only holds a primary education certificate and did not complete her education; nevertheless, she worked in the media field and presented several television programs on various channels inside and outside Egypt.
Information revealed that the broadcaster was involved in drug trafficking with others, as she helped in purchasing drugs from outside Egypt, re-manufacturing and synthesizing them in the country, and then selling them.
The Egyptian security forces managed to arrest several suspects who were partners of the broadcaster, seizing a large quantity of synthetic hashish amounting to 200 kilograms, as well as raw materials, machines, and tools used in mixing and preparing narcotic substances, along with a quantity of gold jewelry and large sums of local and foreign currency, and 5 vehicles from the proceeds of their criminal activities.
The financial value of the seized narcotic substances was estimated at around 420 million Egyptian pounds.
The authorities arrested the broadcaster, who was previously engaged to a famous international football player who played for both Zamalek and Al Ahly clubs and the Egyptian national team, last April in an apartment in a high-end area of Cairo, after receiving information indicating her involvement in drug trafficking.
