شهد مهرجان الداخلة السينمائي في المغرب، العرض العالمي الأول للفيلم السعودي «هجِير»، ضمن المسابقة الرسمية للدورة الثالثة عشرة التي تقام خلال الفترة من 14 إلى 20 يونيو الجاري، وينافس «هجير» سبعة أعمال أخرى في المسابقة الرسمية.
الفيلم من إخراج سارة طلب، وكتابة أمل دياب وأمل الحجار، التي تولّت أيضاً مهمة الإنتاج عبر شركة «شادو برودكشنز»، ويضم طاقم العمل نخبة من الفنانين السعوديين، من بينهم عبدالعزيز فيصل، خالد يسلم، ريم الحبيب، وخالد الحربي. كما شارك في صناعته مدير التصوير عزمي الرحماني، والمونتير سامح صلاح، فيما وضع الموسيقى التصويرية الفنان عبدالله عبود النجار.
وتدور أحداث الفيلم في ستينيات مدينة جدة، ويتناول قصة الشاب الموسيقي هجِير، الذي ينتمي إلى عائلة موسيقية ويُصاب فجأة بمرض يفقده السمع، ليبدأ رحلة مواجهة قاسية مع تحديات اجتماعية ونفسية عميقة، تنتهي بمحاولة تأليف سيمفونية تمثل خلاصة ألمه وتجربته منذ الطفولة.
وقالت منتجة الفيلم أمل الحجار: «هجِير ليس مجرد فيلم عن فقدان السمع، بل هو قصة عن الصمود الداخلي، وعن الإنسان الذي ينهض رغم كل ما يخسره. هذا العمل يمثلني بشكل شخصي، لأنه يتحدث عن القوة الكامنة داخل كل فرد منا».
وأضافت: «حرصنا على تقديم تجربة سينمائية تمس القلب، وتُعبّر عن الذوق السعودي الأصيل، مع دعم مواهب شابة نثق بإمكاناتها».
The Dakhla Film Festival in Morocco witnessed the world premiere of the Saudi film "Hajir," as part of the official competition of the thirteenth edition taking place from June 14 to 20. "Hajir" is competing against seven other works in the official competition.
The film is directed by Sara Talab, with a script by Amal Diab and Amal Al-Hajjar, who also took on the production role through "Shadow Productions." The cast includes a selection of Saudi artists, including Abdulaziz Faisal, Khalid Yaseem, Reem Al-Habeeb, and Khalid Al-Harbi. The film's production also involved cinematographer Azmi Al-Rahmani and editor Samah Salah, while the soundtrack was composed by artist Abdullah Aboud Al-Najjar.
The film's events take place in the 1960s in the city of Jeddah, telling the story of a young musician, Hajir, who comes from a musical family and suddenly loses his hearing due to an illness. He embarks on a harsh journey facing deep social and psychological challenges, culminating in an attempt to compose a symphony that represents the essence of his pain and experiences since childhood.
The film's producer, Amal Al-Hajjar, stated: "Hajir is not just a film about hearing loss; it is a story about inner resilience and about a person who rises despite all that he loses. This work represents me personally, as it speaks to the latent strength within each of us."
She added: "We aimed to present a cinematic experience that touches the heart and expresses authentic Saudi taste, while supporting young talents we believe in."
