تُعاد، اليوم الإثنين، في باريس محاكمة المغني المغربي سعد لمجرد بتهمتي الاغتصاب والعنف مع ظروف مشددة للعقوبة، في إجراء قضائي يقام خلف أبواب مغلقة بناء على طلب الطرف المدني، ومن المتوقع صدور الحكم في القضية يوم الجمعة القادم.
ويمثل المغني حراً تحت إشراف قضائي أمام محكمة الاستئناف بمنطقة فال دو مارن في كريتاي قرب باريس، وسبق أن استأنف لمجرد الحكم الصادر بحقه عن محكمة البداية عام 2023 والقاضي بسجنه 6 سنوات.
وخلال المحاكمة الأولى أدانت محكمة الجنايات في باريس لمجرد بتهمة اغتصاب وضرب شابة كان التقى بها في ملهى ليلي في باريس، في غرفة أحد الفنادق الفخمة في باريس عام 2016.
ودأب المتهم الذي استأنف الحكم على تأكيد براءته، واعترف فقط بأنه «دفع الضحية بوحشية» على وجهها؛ لأنها خدشته، ونفى الاعتداء على الشابة التي كانت تبلغ حينها 20 سنة.
وقال فيكتوريان دي فاريا ودافيد شيمي، محاميا الطرف المدني، لوكالة فرانس برس قبل المحاكمة إنّ «هذه المحاكمة الجديدة تمثل أكثر من مجرد إجراء لموكلتنا. إنها الأمل في تحقيق العدالة بشكل كامل ونهائي».
وفي اتصال مع وكالة فرانس برس، رفض محاميا سعد لمجرد، زوي روايو وكريستيان سان باليه، التعليق قبل المحاكمة.
ومن المقرر أن يمثل لمجرد أمام محكمة الجنايات في منطقة فار جنوب فرنسا بتهمة ارتكاب حوادث مشابهة تقريباً وقعت في سان تروبيه عام 2018. ولم يتم تحديد موعد هذه المحاكمة بعد.
وقد وجهت إليه في الماضي تهمة الاغتصاب في ظروف مماثلة في نيويورك والدار البيضاء في المغرب.
The trial of Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred on charges of rape and violence with aggravated circumstances is being retried today, Monday, in Paris. This judicial proceeding is taking place behind closed doors at the request of the civil party, and a verdict in the case is expected to be issued next Friday.
The singer is appearing freely under judicial supervision before the Court of Appeal in the Val-de-Marne region in Créteil near Paris. Lamjarred had previously appealed the sentence issued against him by the court of first instance in 2023, which sentenced him to 6 years in prison.
During the first trial, the Paris Assize Court convicted Lamjarred of rape and assaulting a young woman he met at a nightclub in Paris, in a room of one of the luxury hotels in Paris in 2016.
The accused, who has appealed the ruling, has consistently asserted his innocence and only admitted to having "pushed the victim violently" on her face because she scratched him. He denied assaulting the young woman, who was 20 years old at the time.
Victorian de Faria and David Chemy, lawyers for the civil party, told Agence France-Presse before the trial that "this new trial represents more than just a procedure for our client. It is the hope for achieving justice fully and finally."
In a statement to Agence France-Presse, Saad Lamjarred's lawyers, Zoe Royau and Christian San Palais, declined to comment before the trial.
Lamjarred is scheduled to appear before the Assize Court in the Var region of southern France on charges of committing similar incidents that occurred in Saint-Tropez in 2018. The date for this trial has not yet been set.
He has previously faced charges of rape under similar circumstances in New York and Casablanca in Morocco.
