تحوّل العرض الأول لفيلم الرعب Final Destination: Bloodlines في مدينة لا بلاتا الأرجنتينية إلى حادثة فعلية داخل صالة السينما، حين انهار جزء من السقف فوق الحاضرين، مساء الأحد 19 مايو، ما أسفر عن وقوع عدة إصابات بين الجمهور دون تسجيل أي حالات وفاة، وسط صدمة مرتادي السينما الذين لم يتوقعوا أن يتحول العرض إلى تجربة واقعية من الرعب.
وقعت الحادثة داخل قاعة «سينما أوتشو» الواقعة في مدينة لا بلاتا، على بُعد نحو 60 كيلومتراً جنوب شرق العاصمة بوينس آيرس، خلال العرض الأول للفيلم الذي كان ينتظره جمهور الأفلام المرعبة. ونقل موقع «إنفوباي» الأرجنتيني تفاصيل الحادثة، مشيراً إلى حالة من الهلع سادت بين الحاضرين عقب سقوط السقف.
فياما فيلافيردي، إحدى الحاضرات في القاعة، تحدثت لوسائل الإعلام الأرجنتينية موضحة أنها قررت الذهاب إلى السينما بمناسبة عيد ميلادها، بشكل عفوي، برفقة ابنتها وصديقتها. وأشارت إلى أن سعر التذاكر المنخفض كان دافعاً إضافياً لحضور العرض.
وأضافت: «في البداية، اعتقدت أن الصوت المرتفع الذي سمعته جزء من المؤثرات الصوتية الخاصة بالفيلم، لكن فجأة سقط جزء من السقف عليّ مباشرة». وأوضحت أنها تعرضت لإصابات شملت الكتف والظهر والركبة والكاحل، لكنها تفادت إصابة في الرأس بفضل ميلها نحو مسند الذراع عند لحظة الانهيار.
The premiere of the horror film Final Destination: Bloodlines in La Plata, Argentina, turned into an actual incident inside the cinema when part of the ceiling collapsed over the audience on the evening of Sunday, May 19, resulting in several injuries among the viewers without any reported fatalities, amidst the shock of the cinema-goers who did not expect the screening to turn into a real-life horror experience.
The incident occurred inside the "Cine Ocho" hall located in La Plata, about 60 kilometers southeast of the capital Buenos Aires, during the premiere of the film that horror movie fans had been eagerly awaiting. The Argentine website "Infobae" reported details of the incident, noting a state of panic that prevailed among the attendees following the ceiling's collapse.
Fiama Villaverde, one of the attendees in the hall, spoke to Argentine media, explaining that she decided to go to the cinema spontaneously to celebrate her birthday, accompanied by her daughter and a friend. She pointed out that the low ticket prices were an additional incentive to attend the screening.
She added, "At first, I thought the loud noise I heard was part of the film's sound effects, but suddenly a part of the ceiling fell directly on me." She explained that she sustained injuries to her shoulder, back, knee, and ankle, but she avoided a head injury thanks to leaning towards the armrest at the moment of the collapse.
