رعى أمير منطقة نجران الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد حفل انطلاق فعاليات مهرجان صيف نجران 2025، الذي تنظمه أمانة المنطقة تحت شعار «صيفنا هايل»، بحضور نائبه الأمير تركي بن هذلول بن عبدالعزيز، والأمير فيصل بن جلوي بن عبدالعزيز، وعدد من مسؤولي الجهات الحكومية والأمنية، والأهالي، بوحدة الملاعب المجمعة بحي الفهد.
وأوضح أمين منطقة نجران المهندس صالح الغامدي، أن الأمانة وبلدياتها هيأت أكثر من (160) متنزهاً وحديقة وساحة بلدية، وممشى رياضياً، لاستقبال المتنزهين خلال فعاليات مهرجان الصيف، بالتكامل والتنسيق مع مختلف الجهات الحكومية والخاصة، مشيراً إلى أن فعاليات المهرجان ستستمر على مدى 45 يوماً، وتتضمن العديد من الفعاليات والبرامج التي تلبي احتياجات الأهالي وزوار المنطقة من الأنشطة الترفيهية، ومسرح الأسرة والطفل، ومعارض الأسر المنتجة والحرفيين، إضافة إلى الفعاليات الثقافية والبرامج التدريبية التي ستقدم خلال أيام المهرجان.
عقب ذلك دشّن أمير المنطقة فعاليات صيف نجران، تلا ذلك أوبريت وطني بمشاركة الفرق الشعبية أدت خلاله ألواناً فلكلورية من التراث الشعبي الذي تشتهر به المنطقة.
وفي ختام الحفل كرّم أمير منطقة نجران الجهات الحكومية والأهلية المشاركة والداعمة لفعاليات المهرجان، كما شارك أمير نجران، ونائبه في أداء العرضة السعودية.
The Prince of Najran, Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, sponsored the launch ceremony of the Najran Summer Festival 2025, organized by the region's municipality under the slogan "Our Summer is Great," with the presence of his deputy, Prince Turki bin Hithal bin Abdulaziz, Prince Faisal bin Jalwa bin Abdulaziz, and a number of officials from government and security agencies, as well as local residents, at the combined sports fields in Al-Fahd neighborhood.
The Secretary of the Najran region, Engineer Saleh Al-Ghamdi, explained that the municipality and its local councils have prepared more than 160 parks, gardens, municipal squares, and sports walkways to welcome visitors during the summer festival activities, in coordination and collaboration with various government and private entities. He pointed out that the festival activities will continue for 45 days and will include many events and programs that meet the needs of the local community and visitors to the region, including recreational activities, a family and children's theater, exhibitions for productive families and artisans, in addition to cultural events and training programs that will be offered during the festival days.
Following that, the Prince of the region inaugurated the Najran Summer activities, which was followed by a national operetta featuring popular teams performing folkloric dances from the region's rich cultural heritage.
At the end of the ceremony, the Prince of Najran honored the participating and supporting government and private entities for the festival activities, and he, along with his deputy, participated in performing the traditional Saudi sword dance.
