أعلنت المنظمة الدولية للهجرة، عودة أكثر من ثلاثة ملايين من النازحين واللاجئين إلى ديارهم في السودان بحلول نهاية شهر نوفمبر الماضي.
وأوضحت المنظمة في بيان لها، أن أكثر من ثلاثة أرباع العائدين هم من النازحين داخليًا، مشيرة إلى أن العاصمة الخرطوم سجلت أكبر عدد من العائدين، وبلغ نحو (1.4) مليون شخص، وتلتها ولاية الجزيرة (نحو 1.1 مليون).
وكان رئيس الوزراء السوداني كامل إدريس أعلن أخيرا عودة الحكومة رسميًا إلى الخرطوم بعد أكثر من عامين ونصف العام من انتقالها إلى مدينة بورتسودان شرقي البلاد، في خطوة تمثل بداية مرحلة جديدة على المشهد السياسي والخدمي بالسودان.
The International Organization for Migration announced the return of more than three million displaced persons and refugees to their homes in Sudan by the end of last November.
The organization clarified in a statement that more than three-quarters of the returnees are internally displaced persons, noting that the capital, Khartoum, recorded the largest number of returnees, reaching about (1.4) million people, followed by Al-Jazeera State (about 1.1 million).
Recently, Sudanese Prime Minister Kamel Idris announced the official return of the government to Khartoum after more than two and a half years of its relocation to Port Sudan in the east of the country, in a move that represents the beginning of a new phase in the political and service landscape of Sudan.
