حذرت وزارة السياحة مرافق الضيافة في مكة والمدينة من أن ممارسة نشاط الضيافة دون ترخيص ساري المفعول يُعد مخالفة تستوجب غرامات قد تصل إلى مليون ريال، أو إغلاق المنشأة، أو تطبيق العقوبتين معاً.
وأكدت أن فرقها الميدانية تواصل تنفيذ جولات تفتيشية وتوعوية على مرافق الإيواء السياحي ومكاتب السفر والسياحة وغيرها من الأنشطة، للتحقق من استيفاء اشتراطات التراخيص ومعايير الجودة والسلامة.
وكانت وزارة السياحة كثفت جهودها الرقابية في مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة خلال العشر الأواخر من شهر رمضان، ضمن حملتها المستمرة «ضيوفنا أولوية»، بهدف رفع جودة الخدمات المقدمة لضيوف الرحمن وضمان التزام منشآت الضيافة بالمعايير النظامية.
وجددت الوزارة دعوتها للزوار للتواصل مع المركز الموحد للسياحة على مدار الساعة لتقديم الملاحظات والاستفسارات المتعلقة بالخدمات السياحية.
The Ministry of Tourism has warned hospitality facilities in Mecca and Medina that operating hospitality activities without a valid license is considered a violation that may incur fines of up to one million riyals, or the closure of the establishment, or the application of both penalties together.
It confirmed that its field teams continue to carry out inspection and awareness tours of tourist accommodation facilities, travel and tourism offices, and other activities, to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and quality and safety standards.
The Ministry of Tourism has intensified its regulatory efforts in Mecca and Medina during the last ten days of Ramadan, as part of its ongoing campaign "Our Guests Are a Priority," aimed at improving the quality of services provided to the guests of the Most Merciful and ensuring that hospitality establishments comply with regulatory standards.
The ministry renewed its invitation to visitors to contact the unified tourism center around the clock to provide feedback and inquiries related to tourism services.
