شهدت محافظة الشرقية في مصر جريمة مروعة أثارت صدمة واسعة، بعدما كشفت التحقيقات الأمنية تفاصيل مقتل طفل يبلغ من العمر أربع سنوات على يد أحد جيرانه بمساعدة والديه، في وقت شارك فيه المتهمون أسرة الضحية وأهالي القرية عمليات البحث عنه لإبعاد الشبهات عنهم.
وبدأت الواقعة مع بلاغ بتغيب الطفل محمد عماد جابر أثناء وجوده أمام منزل أسرته، لتتحرك الأجهزة الأمنية وتبدأ عمليات البحث بمساندة الأهالي وسط حالة من القلق والترقب لمعرفة مصيره.
ومع اتساع نطاق التحريات، رصدت الجهات الأمنية مؤشرات أثارت الشكوك حول أسرة تقطن بجوار منزل الطفل، ما دفعها إلى تفتيش المنزل والوقوف على ملابسات الواقعة.
وخلال إجراءات التفتيش، عُثر على كيس بلاستيكي داخل خزان مياه بالمنزل، ليتبين وجود جثمان الطفل بداخله، في اكتشاف صادم أنهى أياماً من البحث وأزاح الستار عن تفاصيل الجريمة.
وأظهرت التحقيقات الأولية أن المتهم الرئيسي استدرج الطفل إلى منزله، قبل أن يقدم على قتله خشية افتضاح أمره، فيما ساعده والداه لاحقاً في إخفاء الجثمان داخل كيس بلاستيكي ووضعه في خزان مياه بهدف تضليل الجهات الأمنية وإخفاء معالم الجريمة. كما كشفت التحقيقات أن المتهمين شاركوا الأهالي في البحث عن الطفل خلال فترة اختفائه، وهو ما ضاعف من حالة الصدمة بين سكان القرية وأسرة الضحية بعد انكشاف الحقيقة.
وفي تطور مأساوي آخر، أكدت أسرة الطفل أن جدته لم تتحمل وقع الحادثة، وتوفيت عقب علمها بتفاصيل مقتل حفيدها، لتفقد العائلة اثنين من أفرادها خلال فترة وجيزة.

During the search procedures, a plastic bag was found inside a water tank in the house, revealing the body of the child inside it, in a shocking discovery that ended days of searching and unveiled the details of the crime.
Initial investigations showed that the main accused lured the child to his home before killing him out of fear of being exposed, while his parents later assisted him in hiding the body inside a plastic bag and placing it in the water tank to mislead the security authorities and conceal the traces of the crime. Investigations also revealed that the accused participated with the locals in searching for the child during his disappearance, which intensified the state of shock among the villagers and the victim's family after the truth was uncovered.
In another tragic development, the child's family confirmed that his grandmother could not bear the impact of the incident and passed away after learning the details of her grandson's murder, causing the family to lose two of its members in a short period.
