تدخل الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم بشكلٍ عاجلٍ، بعدما تجاهل نادي شباب الأهلي الإماراتي جميع اتصالات نادي الهلال المستضيف لمباراة الفريقين المقررة الثلاثاء، في الجولة الرابعة من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة لمنطقة الغرب.
وكشف مصدر أن الهلال أنهى كافة الترتيبات الخاصة بالبعثة الإماراتية، من سكنٍ فاخرٍ وحافلات للاعبين والجهاز الفني وسيارات خاصة للإداريين، إضافة إلى تجهيز ملاعب التدريب وإرسال كافة التفاصيل، إلا أن إدارة شباب الأهلي لم ترد على أي اتصال منذ أمس.
وخاطب الاتحاد القاري نظيره الإماراتي للاستفسار عن أسباب هذا الصمت المفاجئ قبل 48 ساعة من المواجهة المرتقبة.
The Asian Football Confederation intervened urgently after Al Ahli Club of the UAE ignored all communications from Al Hilal Club, the host of the match between the two teams scheduled for Tuesday, in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League for the Western region.
