كشف خال الشاب شريف خليفة، الذي تصدى لكلب مسعور وتمكن من قتله في مركز سمالوط بمحافظة المنيا المصرية، تفاصيل المواجهة التي وثقها مقطع فيديو واسع الانتشار على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، كاشفاً أن الكلب سبق أن عقر عدداً من الأهالي، بينهم أطفال، قبل أن تنتهي خطورته على يد الشاب.
وقال خال شريف، في تصريحات خاصة لـ«عكاظ»، إن الكلب هاجم نجل شقيقته وعقره في أماكن متفرقة من جسده، إلا أن الشاب قرر التصدي له ومطاردته، خشية تعرض مزيد من الأهالي للخطر، قبل أن يعاود الكلب مهاجمته، ليتمكن في النهاية من القضاء عليه.
وأضاف أن شريف أُصيب خلال المواجهة، ونُقل إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج، مشيراً إلى أن الكلب سبق أن تسبب في إصابة نحو 7 أو 8 من الأهالي، بينهم أطفال، أحدهم تعرض لإصابة في عينه. وأوضح خال الشاب أن إصابة الطفل أثّرت في شريف ودفعته إلى الإصرار على التصدي للكلب وإنهاء خطورته.
فيديو يحصد ملايين المشاهدات
وتداول مستخدمون على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي مقطع فيديو يوثق مواجهة الشاب للكلب المسعور، في مشهد أثار تفاعلاً واسعاً، بعدما أظهر إصراره على التصدي له رغم خطورة المواجهة، في محاولة لإنهاء تهديده لأهالي القرية.
وأشار خال شريف، في حديثه لـ«عكاظ»، إلى أنه لم يكن يتوقع أن يحظى الفيديو بهذا الانتشار الواسع، أو أن يحقق كل هذه المشاهدات على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.
The uncle of the young man Sherif Khalifa, who confronted a rabid dog and managed to kill it in the center of Samalout in the Minya governorate of Egypt, revealed details of the confrontation that was documented in a widely circulated video on social media, disclosing that the dog had previously bitten several locals, including children, before its threat was ended by the young man.
He stated in exclusive comments to "Okaz" that the dog attacked his sister's son and bit him in various places on his body; however, the young man decided to confront and chase it, fearing that more locals would be endangered, before the dog attacked him again, ultimately allowing him to eliminate it.
He added that Sherif was injured during the confrontation and was taken to the hospital for treatment, noting that the dog had previously caused injuries to about 7 or 8 locals, including children, one of whom suffered an injury to his eye. The young man's uncle explained that the child's injury affected Sherif and motivated him to insist on confronting the dog and ending its threat.
A video that garnered millions of views
Users on social media circulated a video documenting the young man's confrontation with the rabid dog, in a scene that sparked widespread interaction, as it showed his determination to confront it despite the danger of the situation, in an attempt to eliminate the threat to the villagers.
Sherif's uncle mentioned in his conversation with "Okaz" that he did not expect the video to gain such wide circulation or to achieve all these views on social media platforms.
