تحولت رحلة عودة أسرة إلى قريتها بمحافظة الغربية المصرية إلى مأساة مؤلمة، بعدما سقطت سيارتهم في مياه نهر النيل بالقرب من قرية دهتورة، لتنتهي الواقعة بمقتل طفلين من أبناء العمومة غرقاً، فيما تمكن الأهالي من إنقاذ والديهما، قبل أن تنجح قوات الإنقاذ النهري في انتشال جثماني الطفلين.
ولقي طفلان من أبناء عمومة مقتلهما غرقاً، فيما نجا والداهما من الموت، بعد سقوط سيارة ملاكي كانت تقل أسرة من قرية كفر السحيمية التابعة لمركز زفتى بمحافظة الغربية، في مياه نهر النيل بالقرب من قرية دهتورة، قبل قناطر دهتورة.
وتلقت الأجهزة الأمنية بمديرية أمن الغربية بلاغاً بسقوط سيارة في مجرى نهر النيل بنطاق مركز زفتى، وعلى الفور انتقلت القيادات الأمنية وقوات الحماية المدنية والإنقاذ النهري إلى موقع الحادثة، بالتنسيق مع الأهالي، لبدء أعمال البحث والإنقاذ.
سقوط السيارة في مياه النيل
وبالفحص، تبين أن السيارة كانت تقل أسرة من أبناء قرية كفر السحيمية، أثناء عودتها من مدينة زفتى إلى محل إقامتها، قبل أن تنحرف السيارة وتسقط في مياه النيل بالقرب من قرية دهتورة، في المنطقة الواقعة قبل القناطر.
وفور وقوع الحادثة، سارع عدد من الأهالي إلى موقع سقوط السيارة، وتمكنوا من إنقاذ الأب والأم من المياه، فيما استمرت قوات الحماية المدنية والإنقاذ النهري في البحث عن الطفلين اللذين كانا برفقة الأسرة.
وبعد عمليات بحث وتمشيط داخل مجرى النهر، تمكنت فرق الإنقاذ من انتشال جثماني الطفلين، وسط حالة من الحزن بين الأهالي الذين تجمعوا في موقع الحادثة لمتابعة جهود الإنقاذ.
رفع السيارة وانتشال جثماني الطفلين
وتمكنت الأجهزة المعنية من رفع السيارة من مياه النيل، فيما جرى نقل الأب والأم إلى مستشفى زفتى العام لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، بينما نُقل جثمانا الطفلين إلى مشرحة المستشفى تحت تصرف النيابة العامة.
وتواصل الأجهزة الأمنية جهودها لكشف ملابسات الحادثة وتحديد أسبابه، فيما كُلفت إدارة البحث الجنائي بإجراء التحريات اللازمة حول الواقعة وظروف سقوط السيارة في مياه النيل.
كما جرى تحرير المحضر اللازم، وإخطار النيابة العامة التي باشرت التحقيقات، للوقوف على جميع تفاصيل الحادثة وملابساتها.
The return journey of a family to their village in the Gharbia Governorate of Egypt turned into a painful tragedy, after their car fell into the waters of the Nile River near the village of Dahtoura, resulting in the drowning deaths of two cousin children, while the parents were rescued by locals, before the river rescue forces succeeded in retrieving the bodies of the two children.
Two cousin children drowned, while their parents survived, after a private car carrying a family from the village of Kafr Al-Suhimiyah in the Zefta district of Gharbia Governorate fell into the waters of the Nile River near the village of Dahtoura, before the Dahtoura weirs.
The security authorities in the Gharbia Security Directorate received a report about a car falling into the Nile River within the Zefta district, and immediately, security leaders and civil protection and river rescue forces moved to the scene of the incident, in coordination with the locals, to begin search and rescue operations.

Upon inspection, it was found that the car was carrying a family from the village of Kafr Al-Suhimiyah, while returning from the city of Zefta to their residence, before the car veered off and fell into the Nile waters near the village of Dahtoura, in the area before the weirs.
Immediately after the incident, a number of locals rushed to the site of the car's fall and managed to rescue the father and mother from the water, while civil protection and river rescue forces continued searching for the two children who were with the family.
After search and sweeping operations within the river's course, the rescue teams managed to retrieve the bodies of the two children, amidst a state of sadness among the locals who gathered at the scene of the incident to follow the rescue efforts.
Raising the car and retrieving the bodies of the two children
The relevant authorities managed to lift the car from the Nile waters, while the father and mother were transferred to Zefta General Hospital to receive the necessary medical care, while the bodies of the two children were taken to the hospital's morgue under the jurisdiction of the public prosecutor.
The security authorities continue their efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident and determine its causes, while the criminal investigation department has been tasked with conducting the necessary investigations into the incident and the circumstances surrounding the car's fall into the Nile waters.
A report has also been filed, and the public prosecutor has been notified, who has initiated investigations to clarify all the details and circumstances of the incident.
