خرجت الفنانة المصرية رحمة محسن عن صمتها لتوضح حقيقة التكهنات التي اجتاحت وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بشأن وجود أزمة بينها وبين الفنان أحمد العوضي، خاصة عقب الإعلان عن استبعادها من قائمة أبطال مسلسله الرمضاني المرتقب «سلطان الديب».
وأكدت رحمة محسن في تصريحاتها الأخيرة أن ما يتم تداوله عن وجود خصومة بينهما لا أساس له من الصحة، مشيرة إلى أن العوضي يظل صاحب فضل كبير في مسيرتها الغنائية والتمثيلية. وأوضحت أن خطوة الظهور إلى جانبه اختصرت عليها سنوات طويلة من السعي للتواجد على الساحة الفنية، مؤكدة أن التواصل والود بينهما مستمران حتى اللحظة.
وعن الحركة التي أثارت تساؤلات عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، والمتعلقة بإلغاء متابعتها لحساب العوضي على «إنستغرام»، أوضحت رحمة محسن أن التصرف جاء في سياق مزاح عابر ومواقف بسيطة تتكرر بين المقربين، ولا يحمل أي دلالات عن وجود خلاف عميق. كما نفت وجود أي ربط بين هذا التصرف ومتابعتها لحساب الفنانة ياسمين عبدالعزيز، مبيّنة أنها تتابع حساب الأخيرة منذ نحو عشر سنوات متواصلة.
من جانبه، حسم أحمد العوضي ترتيبات عمله الدرامي الجديد «سلطان الديب»، موضحاً استراتيجيته المستمرة في إتاحة الفرصة أمام وجوه جديدة وشابة في أدوار البطولة. وتقرر أن تخوض الوجه الجديد لجين خليفة، التي لفتت الأنظار أخيراً في كليب «لولا البنات» مع الفنان عمرو دياب، أولى تجاربها التمثيلية عبر هذا المسلسل.

She explained that the opportunity to appear alongside him has shortened many years of effort to establish herself in the artistic scene, emphasizing that their communication and friendship continue to this day.
Regarding the action that raised questions across social media, related to her unfollowing El Awady's account on Instagram, Rahma Mohsen clarified that the act was part of a light-hearted joke and simple situations that occur among close friends, and it does not carry any implications of a deep disagreement. She also denied any connection between this action and her following the account of the artist Yasmin Abdel Aziz, stating that she has been following the latter's account for nearly ten consecutive years.
For his part, Ahmed El Awady has finalized the arrangements for his new dramatic work "Sultan El Deeb", outlining his ongoing strategy to provide opportunities for new and young faces in leading roles. It has been decided that the new face, Lujain Khalifa, who recently caught attention in the music video "Lawla El Banat" with the artist Amr Diab, will embark on her first acting experience through this series.
