أسفر انهيار عقار قديم مكوّن من ثلاثة طوابق بمدينة المنيا عن مصرع سيدة كانت داخل المبنى لحظة السقوط، فيما جرى نقل الجثمان إلى المستشفى العام.
وفيما أظهرت التحريات الأولية تدهور حالة المبنى قبل الانهيار، فقد بيّنت أيضًا أن العقار المنهار يقع في منطقة المطافي بوسط مدينة المنيا، وإلى جواره منازل صادرة لها قرارات إزالة، الأمر الذي دفع الأجهزة الأمنية إلى فرض طوق محكم حول المكان وفصل الغاز عن المنطقة حرصًا على سلامة المارة.
وتواصل الجهات المختصة فحص ملابسات الحادثة واستكمال الإجراءات القانونية تمهيدًا لعرض الواقعة على النيابة العامة لمباشرة التحقيق.
The collapse of an old three-story building in the city of Minya resulted in the death of a woman who was inside the building at the moment of the collapse, while the body was transferred to the general hospital.
Initial investigations revealed the deteriorating condition of the building before the collapse, and it was also indicated that the collapsed property is located in the Al-Matafi area in the center of Minya, next to houses that have been issued demolition orders. This prompted security forces to impose a tight cordon around the area and cut off gas to the region to ensure the safety of passersby.
The relevant authorities continue to examine the circumstances of the incident and complete the legal procedures in preparation for presenting the case to the public prosecution for investigation.
