رفض أن يمنحها حريتها بالمعروف، فقررت أن تأخذها بالقوة، وحول هذه الرغبة نشأ مشهد دامي شهدته شوارع منطقة السلام ثان بالقاهرة، بعدما تحول الخلاف الزوجي التقليدي إلى محاولة قتل صريحة داخل عش الزوجية.
لم تكتفِ الزوجة بطلب الطلاق في ظل تكرار الرفض من زوجها الثلاثيني الذي يعمل سائق «توك توك»، بل استعانت بخطيب شقيقتها لإرهابه وضمان كسر إرادته. وفي لحظة احتدام النقاش، تسلحت بسلاح أبيض (شفرة حادة) وسددت له طعنة غائرة في البطن كادت تودي بحياته، بمساعدة شريكها الذي اشترك في ضربه لإكراهه على إعلان الانفصال رسمياً.
سقط الزوج غارقاً في دمائه ونُقل على الفور إلى مستشفى السلام في حالة حرجة. ومن داخل غرفة العناية، أدلى بأقواله لرجال المباحث، متهماً زوجته وخطيب شقيقتها بالاعتداء عليه بغرض إجباره تحت تهديد السلاح على تطليقها.
وتحركت قوة أمنية فورية وضبطت المتهمين وأداة الجريمة المستخدمة. وبمواجهتهما في التحقيقات، أقرا تفصيلياً بارتكاب الجريمة، مؤكدين أن إصرار الزوج على رفض الطلاق وعدم تجاوبه القاطع مع كافة المحاولات الودية كان الدافع وراء استخدام السلاح.
وتستكمل النيابة العامة التحقيق مع المتهمين بتهمة الشروع في القتل والتعدي العمد، تمهيداً لإحالتهما إلى محكمة الجنايات.
He refused to grant her freedom amicably, so she decided to take it by force, and around this desire, a bloody scene unfolded in the streets of the Al-Salam Thani area in Cairo, after a traditional marital dispute turned into a blatant attempted murder inside the marital home.
The wife did not settle for asking for a divorce in light of her husband's repeated refusals; he is in his thirties and works as a "tuk-tuk" driver. Instead, she enlisted the help of her sister's fiancé to intimidate him and ensure his will was broken. In a moment of heated discussion, she armed herself with a white weapon (a sharp blade) and delivered a deep stab to his abdomen that nearly cost him his life, with the assistance of her accomplice who participated in beating him to coerce him into officially declaring the separation.
The husband fell, bleeding profusely, and was immediately taken to Al-Salam Hospital in critical condition. From inside the intensive care unit, he provided his testimony to the investigators, accusing his wife and her sister's fiancé of assaulting him with the intent to force him, under threat of weapon, to divorce her.
A rapid security force was dispatched and apprehended the suspects along with the weapon used in the crime. When confronted during the investigations, they detailed their commission of the crime, confirming that the husband's insistence on refusing the divorce and his firm non-responsiveness to all amicable attempts was the motive behind the use of the weapon.
The public prosecutor continues to investigate the suspects on charges of attempted murder and intentional assault, in preparation for referring them to the criminal court.
