تفاقمت أزمة ملكة جمال مصر العالمية بصورة غير مسبوقة، بعدما صعّدت إيرينا يسري لهجتها ضد إدارة المسابقة ولجأت إلى القضاء، مؤكدةً تمسُّكها بحقها في تمثيل مصر خلال الموسم الذي حصلت فيه على لقبها، ومحذّرةً من أي محاولة لاستبدالها بمتسابقة أخرى.
ونشرت إيرينا بيانًا عبر حسابها على (إنستغرام) أعلنت فيه أنها الممثلة الرسمية لمصر في مسابقة (Miss Global)، وأن منح هذا الحق لأي متسابقة أخرى يعد مخالفة تستوجب المساءلة القانونية، مشيرةً إلى احتفاظها بكامل حقوقها القانونية وحقوق الملكية المرتبطة باللقب.
ويأتي هذا التصعيد بعد خلاف سابق أثارته عندما رفضت تسليم التاج للملكة الجديدة، مبررةً موقفها بما وصفته بغياب الشفافية والعدالة داخل المسابقة، مؤكدةً أنها واجهت مشكلات خلال مشاركتها وتعرّضت لهجمات مرتبطة بحسابات شخصية، وأنها فضّلت الصمت عامًا كاملًا قبل كشف تفاصيل ما حدث.
وتقول إيرينا إنها «تلقت رسائل من مشاركات سابقات تحدثن عن تجارب مشابهة، ما عزز قناعتها بطرح الأزمة للرأي العام»، مؤكدة امتلاكها مواد توثّق ما تعرضت له، يمكن استخدامها في حال تطور الخلاف قانونيًا.
في المقابل، أوضحت إدارة (Miss Egypt) أن اللقب الذي حصلت عليه إيرينا هو Miss Global Egypt؛ وهو لقب تأهيلي يتيح لحاملته المشاركة في (Miss Global)، وليس لقب (Miss Egypt) الرسمي، وأن الاحتفاظ به مرتبط باستكمال إجراءات المشاركة الدولية وفق اللوائح المنظمة.
ورغم هذا التوضيح، تتمسك إيرينا بأحقيتها في التمثيل، مؤكدة أن اللقب مُنح لها رسميًا خلال الحفل، وأنها كانت ضمن خمس متسابقات حصلن على ألقاب تؤهلهن للمشاركة الدولية، متهمةً إدارة المسابقة بوضع عراقيل أمام سفرها والمطالبة بمبالغ مالية، في أزمة تتواصل فصولها وسط جدل واسع على مواقع التواصل.
The crisis of the Miss Egypt Global title has escalated unprecedentedly, after Irina Yousri intensified her tone against the competition's management and resorted to the judiciary, asserting her right to represent Egypt during the season in which she won her title, and warning against any attempt to replace her with another contestant.
Irina published a statement via her (Instagram) account announcing that she is the official representative of Egypt in the (Miss Global) competition, and that granting this right to any other contestant constitutes a violation that warrants legal accountability, indicating that she retains all her legal rights and the rights associated with the title.
This escalation comes after a previous dispute she raised when she refused to hand over the crown to the new queen, justifying her position by what she described as a lack of transparency and fairness within the competition, asserting that she faced problems during her participation and was subjected to attacks related to personal accounts, and that she preferred to remain silent for an entire year before revealing the details of what happened.
Irina states that she "received messages from former contestants who spoke about similar experiences, which reinforced her conviction to bring the crisis to public opinion," affirming that she possesses materials documenting what she has been subjected to, which can be used if the dispute escalates legally.
In contrast, the (Miss Egypt) management clarified that the title Irina received is Miss Global Egypt; which is a qualifying title that allows the holder to participate in (Miss Global), and not the official title of (Miss Egypt), and that retaining it is linked to completing the international participation procedures according to the organizing regulations.
Despite this clarification, Irina insists on her right to represent, affirming that the title was officially granted to her during the ceremony, and that she was among five contestants who received titles qualifying them for international participation, accusing the competition's management of placing obstacles in the way of her travel and demanding financial amounts, in a crisis that continues to unfold amid widespread controversy on social media.
