The Spanish actor Aron Piper, star of the famous film (Hugo 24), sparked widespread interaction after appearing in a shirt of the Saudi Al-Nassr club while in the capital Madrid, in a moment that caught the attention of both football fans and cinema lovers alike.
The photos spread across social media platforms coinciding with the film's media tour, which is considered one of the most prominent Spanish works of 2026.
Piper's appearance in the yellow Al-Nassr shirt came at a time when the Saudi club continues to enhance its global presence since the joining of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo in December 2022; a move that has raised the popularity of the club and the Saudi league in an unprecedented way beyond the region's borders.
In the film (Hugo 24), Aron Piper portrays a 23-year-old young man who struggles between adolescence and the demands of maturity, finding himself in a race against time to gather a sum of money within 24 hours to save his home from eviction, amidst complex family circumstances that include the absence of his father and his mother's imprisonment, along with his fear of abandonment as his girlfriend prepares to leave.
The film, directed by Luke Noles, also stars Marco Caseres, Marta Etura, Greta Fernández, and Javier Pereira, and premiered at the 29th Malaga Film Festival before being released in Spanish theaters. The work received mixed critical reception, with particular praise for the performances of Piper and Caseres and their on-screen chemistry.
Although Piper's appearance in the Al-Nassr shirt was brief, it turned into a topic of conversation among followers, considering that the club's popularity has begun to transcend the boundaries of stadiums to reach global cinema stars.
