Artist Mohamed Ramadan sparked a wide wave of controversy after he posted a cryptic phrase on his account on the (X) platform, coinciding with the rising discussions about actress Ghada Abdel Razek's withdrawal from participating in the series (Ishmawy), which is set to air in the Ramadan season of 2027.

Ramadan wrote: "If there is no hope!! The door lets in a camel"; a phrase that opened the door for interpretation among followers, especially given its sensitive timing.

Although Ramadan did not clarify the background of the post, several social media users linked the message to Ghada Abdel Razek's withdrawal from the project, considering that the phrase might carry an indirect response to the discussions surrounding her participation. Conversely, others believed that the post was merely a general expression that did not target anyone in particular.

Speculation increased after unconfirmed statements circulated regarding disputes related to Ghada's participation in the series, especially with director Mohamed Sami and Mai Omar being part of the cast, which brought to mind the artistic and legal conflict that had involved Ghada and Sami for many years.

For his part, Ghada Abdel Razek's manager denied any conflict with Mohamed Ramadan, confirming that her withdrawal was due to contractual obligations unrelated to the cast, noting that the posters circulating on social media are unofficial and were produced using artificial intelligence techniques.

Meanwhile, director Peter Mimi clarified on his (Facebook) account that he has not yet announced the final list of the cast for (Ishmawy), except for Mohamed Sami's participation as a guest of honor, to put an end to the circulating speculations about the names of those involved in the project.

Amid ambiguous messages and rising speculations, the controversy remains open regarding the reality of what is happening behind the scenes of (Ishmawy), while the audience continues to read between the lines in Ramadan's posts and the comments from followers.
