أفادت الوكالة الرقمية اليابانية اليوم أن نحو 246 ألف سجل من البيانات الشخصية قد يكون تعرض للتسريب، بعد وصول غير مصرح به إلى شبكة حكومية.
وبحسب وكالة (كيودو) اليابانية، فإن البيانات تشمل أسماء وعناوين لموظفين في الحكومة المركزية، فيما لم يتم حتى الآن تأكيد إساءة استخدام المعلومات.
وقالت الوكالة اليابانية إنها رصدت الوصول غير القانوني إلى الشبكة في 25 يونيو، وتبين أن الاختراق بدأ في أواخر مايو باستخدام حساب الموظف المسؤول عن أعمال الصيانة والتشغيل، مضيفة أن الحساب المعني جرى تعليق استخدامه، وقدمت الوكالة الرقمية اعتذارها عن الحادثة، وتعهدت بتعزيز إجراءات الأمن السيبراني.
The Japanese digital agency reported today that approximately 246,000 records of personal data may have been leaked, following unauthorized access to a government network.
According to the Japanese news agency (Kyodo), the data includes names and addresses of employees in the central government, while the misuse of the information has not yet been confirmed.
The Japanese agency stated that it detected the illegal access to the network on June 25, and it was found that the breach began in late May using the account of the employee responsible for maintenance and operations. It added that the concerned account has been suspended, and the digital agency apologized for the incident, pledging to enhance cybersecurity measures.
