أثار مقطع فيديو متداول على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي في العراق حالة من الجدل، بعد أن زعم ناشروه اندلاع حريق داخل أحد القبور في مقبرة «سيد علاوي» بمحافظة كركوك، وسط أحاديث شعبية ربطت المشهد بظواهر غير مألوفة. لكن السلطات المحلية سارعت إلى التحقق من الواقعة، لتكشف أن حقيقة المشهد تختلف عما جرى تداوله.
وانتشرت خلال الساعات الماضية مشاهد تظهر ألسنة لهب ودخانًا يتصاعدان من بين أكوام التراب والأنقاض داخل المقبرة، ما دفع عددًا من الأهالي ووسائل الإعلام المحلية إلى التوجه للموقع، بالتزامن مع تجمعات أثارتها الروايات المتداولة حول الحادثة.
ومع اتساع تداول الفيديو، توجهت الأجهزة الأمنية إلى المكان للتحقق من ملابسات الواقعة، قبل أن تنفي قيادة شرطة كركوك رسميًا ما وصفته بـ«الأنباء المضللة» بشأن خروج النار من أحد القبور.
وأوضحت القيادة، في بيان، أن الموقع يقع ضمن قاطع مركز شرطة القورية، مشيرة إلى أن المعاينة الميدانية والتحريات أظهرت أن الحريق اندلع في نفايات وأنقاض متراكمة في إحدى زوايا المقبرة، وأن ألسنة اللهب والدخان كانت تتصاعد من أسفل تلك المخلفات.
وأكدت الشرطة عدم وجود أي قبر في البقعة التي اندلعت فيها النيران، نافية بذلك الرواية التي روجت لاحتراق قبر أو خروج النار من داخله، واعتبرت أن ما جرى تداوله يمثل استغلالًا لحادثة عرضية لإثارة الشائعات والهلع بين المواطنين.
وباشرت فرق الدفاع المدني عمليات إخماد الحريق، وتمكنت من السيطرة عليه وتأمين الموقع، فيما اتُخذت الإجراءات اللازمة للحد من تكرار حرائق مماثلة ناجمة عن تراكم النفايات والأنقاض.
ودعت قيادة الشرطة المواطنين إلى عدم الانسياق وراء الخرافات والأخبار غير الموثوقة، مؤكدة أن الجهات المختصة ستتخذ الإجراءات القانونية بحق من يروج للشائعات التي من شأنها تضليل الرأي العام أو التأثير في السلم المجتمعي.
A video clip circulating on social media in Iraq has sparked controversy after its publishers claimed that a fire broke out inside one of the graves in the "Sayed Alawi" cemetery in Kirkuk, amid popular discussions linking the scene to unusual phenomena. However, local authorities quickly moved to verify the incident, revealing that the reality of the scene differs from what has been circulated.
In recent hours, scenes have spread showing flames and smoke rising from piles of dirt and debris within the cemetery, prompting several locals and local media to head to the site, coinciding with gatherings fueled by the circulating narratives about the incident.
As the video continued to circulate, security forces arrived at the location to investigate the circumstances of the incident, before the Kirkuk police command officially denied what it described as "misleading news" regarding fire coming from one of the graves.
The command clarified in a statement that the site falls within the jurisdiction of the Al-Qouriya police station, indicating that field inspections and investigations revealed that the fire broke out in accumulated waste and debris in one corner of the cemetery, and that flames and smoke were rising from beneath those remnants.
The police confirmed that there was no grave in the area where the fire broke out, thus denying the narrative that promoted the burning of a grave or fire coming from within it, considering that what was circulated represents an exploitation of an incidental event to stir rumors and panic among citizens.
Civil defense teams began operations to extinguish the fire and were able to control it and secure the site, while necessary measures were taken to prevent similar fires caused by the accumulation of waste and debris.
The police command urged citizens not to be swayed by superstitions and unreliable news, emphasizing that the relevant authorities would take legal action against those who spread rumors that could mislead public opinion or affect societal peace.
