تحولت مشادة داخل أحد المنازل في مدينة العريش بمحافظة شمال سيناء المصرية إلى واقعة مأساوية، بعدما أقدم شاب يعاني من اضطراب نفسي على طعن شقيقه بسكين، قبل أن يصيب والده أثناء محاولته التدخل لإنقاذ نجله.
وبحسب التحريات الأولية، بدأت الواقعة بمشادة بين أفراد الأسرة، قبل أن تتطور بشكل مفاجئ، إذ استولى المتهم على سكين من المطبخ واعتدى على شقيقه (26 عاماً)، بطعنة في الصدر، ما أدى إلى وفاته متأثراً بإصابته.
ولم تتوقف الواقعة عند ذلك، إذ حاول الأب (58 عاماً)، التدخل لفض الشجار وإنقاذ نجله، إلا أن المتهم وجه إليه طعنة أخرى أصابته في البطن، ليُنقل إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج.
وتمكنت الأجهزة الأمنية من التحفظ على المتهم، وتحرير محضر بالواقعة، قبل إحالته إلى جهات التحقيق التي باشرت إجراءاتها، ووجهت إليه اتهامات بالقتل والشروع في القتل.
وأفادت روايات متداولة بين الأهالي بأن الشاب القتيل كان يستعد لإتمام زفافه خلال الفترة القادمة، بعدما انتهت أسرته من تجهيز مسكن الزوجية، إلا أن الواقعة بددت تلك الاستعدادات وحولت فرحة الأسرة المنتظرة إلى مأتم.
A dispute inside a house in the city of Al-Arish in Egypt's North Sinai Governorate turned into a tragic incident when a young man suffering from a mental disorder stabbed his brother with a knife, before injuring their father while trying to intervene to save his son.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident began with a quarrel among family members, which suddenly escalated. The accused seized a knife from the kitchen and attacked his brother (26 years old) with a stab to the chest, resulting in his death from the injury.
The incident did not stop there, as the father (58 years old) attempted to intervene to resolve the fight and save his son, but the accused directed another stab at him, injuring him in the abdomen, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The security forces managed to apprehend the accused and file a report about the incident before referring him to the investigative authorities, which began their procedures and charged him with murder and attempted murder.
Circulating accounts among the locals indicated that the deceased young man was preparing to complete his wedding in the near future, after his family finished preparing the marital home. However, the incident shattered those preparations and turned the family's anticipated joy into a funeral.
