ارتفعت حصيلة ضحايا الزلزال الذي ضرب مقاطعة نوسا تينجارا الشرقية في إندونيسيا بقوة 7.7 درجة إلى 72 شخصاً، فيما بلغ عدد المصابين نحو 900 شخص، وفقاً لأحدث بيانات الوكالة الوطنية الإندونيسية لإدارة الكوارث.
وأفادت الوكالة بأن الزلزال أسفر عن تضرر نحو 29 ألف منزل، من بينها 11699 منزلاً تعرضت لأضرار جسيمة، و6542 منزلاً لأضرار متوسطة، 10760 منزلاً لأضرار طفيفة.
كما تضررت 804 منشآت تعليمية و237 منشأة صحية، إلى جانب 116 مبنى حكومياً، فيما لحقت أضرار بـ45 قطاعاً من الطرق و16 جسراً.
وتتواصل في المناطق المتضررة عمليات البحث والإنقاذ وإجلاء السكان، بالتزامن مع جهود السُلطات لإيصال المساعدات الإنسانية وإصلاح الطرق وإعادة خدمات الكهرباء والاتصالات والبنية الأساسية الحيوية.
ووفقاً لبيانات الوكالة، نزح 82691 شخصاً من منازلهم، فيما تأثرت أكثر من 18 ألف أسرة جراء الكارثة الطبيعية.
The death toll from the earthquake that struck East Nusa Tenggara province in Indonesia with a magnitude of 7.7 has risen to 72 people, while the number of injured has reached around 900, according to the latest data from the Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency.
The agency reported that the earthquake resulted in damage to approximately 29,000 homes, of which 11,699 homes suffered severe damage, 6,542 homes sustained moderate damage, and 10,760 homes experienced minor damage.
Additionally, 804 educational facilities and 237 health facilities were affected, along with 116 government buildings, while 45 sectors of roads and 16 bridges were damaged.
Search and rescue operations and the evacuation of residents continue in the affected areas, alongside efforts by the authorities to deliver humanitarian aid and repair roads, as well as restore electricity, communications, and vital infrastructure services.
According to the agency's data, 82,691 people have been displaced from their homes, while more than 18,000 families have been affected by the natural disaster.
