شنت القوات الأمنية التونسية حملة تطهير واسعة استهدفت معاقل الجريمة المنظمة، مسفرة عن الإطاحة بسلسلة من أعتى العصابات التي روعت الشارع وشكلت امتدادات عابرة للحدود.
بدأت شرارة الضربات من منطقة «باب سويقة» بالعاصمة، حيث نفذت الشرطة سلسلة مداهمات مباغتة أسفرت عن توقيف 28 عنصراً خطيراً. العصابة التي أثارت الرعب اتُهمت بـ:
- السطو والاعتداء بالعنف الشديد باستخدام الأسلحة البيضاء.
- الفرار من العدالة، إذ كشفت التحريات أن جميع المقبوض عليهم صادر بحقهم عشرات مناشير التفتيش القضائية والأمنية.
ولم تقتصر الضربات على عصابات الشوارع، بل امتدت لتكشف واحدة من أذكى وأخطر حيل التهريب الدولي، حيث نجحت فرقة مكافحة المخدرات في تفكيك شبكة تبييض أموال وتهريب، ابتكرت طريقة شيطانية لإدخال القنب الهندي.
- الحيلة: تغليف المخدرات على شكل «حبات تمر» محكمة الإغلاق.
- أسلوب التهريب: ابتلاع تلك «التمرات» داخل بطون عناصر العصابة للتسلل عبر مطار تونس قرطاج والمنافذ الحدودية قبل ترويجها بالمحافظات.
وعلى صعيد أحكام القضاء، تلقت إحدى أخطر «العصابات النسائية» ضربة موجعة عقب قيام 3 فتيات بتهريب المخدرات عبر سفرات جوية منتظمة.
- العقاب: أصدرت المحكمة الابتدائية أحكاماً سجنية مشددة تراوحت بين 20 و30 سنة.
- الاعترافات: قادت التحقيقات مع الفتيات إلى كشف الامتدادات السرية للشبكة داخل تونس وفي دول مجاورة وأوروبية، ليرفع الأمن التونسي شعار «لا خطوط حمراء» ضد أي نشاط إجرامي.
The Tunisian security forces launched a wide-ranging cleansing campaign targeting the strongholds of organized crime, resulting in the dismantling of a series of the most notorious gangs that terrorized the streets and formed cross-border extensions.
The spark of the strikes began in the "Bab Souika" area of the capital, where the police carried out a series of surprise raids that resulted in the arrest of 28 dangerous individuals. The gang that instilled fear was accused of:
- Robbery and severe violent assault using bladed weapons.
- Fleeing from justice, as investigations revealed that all those arrested had dozens of judicial and security search warrants issued against them.
The strikes were not limited to street gangs but extended to uncover one of the smartest and most dangerous international smuggling tricks, where the drug enforcement unit succeeded in dismantling a money laundering and smuggling network that devised a diabolical method to introduce cannabis.
- The trick: Wrapping the drugs in the form of tightly sealed "dates."
- The smuggling method: Swallowing those "dates" inside the stomachs of gang members to sneak through Tunis-Carthage Airport and border crossings before distributing them in the provinces.
On the judicial front, one of the most dangerous "female gangs" received a painful blow after three girls were caught smuggling drugs through regular flights.
- The punishment: The primary court issued severe prison sentences ranging from 20 to 30 years.
- The confessions: Investigations with the girls led to the revelation of the secret extensions of the network within Tunisia and in neighboring and European countries, prompting the Tunisian security forces to adopt the slogan "No red lines" against any criminal activity.
