في واقعة مأساوية، لقي شقيق أحد أعضاء مجلس النواب المصري، مصرعه في منطقة المرج بالقاهرة؛ إثر إصابته بطلق ناري خرج بالخطأ من سلاح ناري كان بحوزته، بعدما وصلت حفيدته الصغيرة إلى السلاح دون إدراك لخطورة التعامل معه.
وبحسب التحريات والإجراءات التي باشرتها الأجهزة الأمنية، وقعت الحادثة قبل عدة أيام، عندما كانت حفيدة المجني عليه ضياء درويش، شقيق البرلماني سيد درويش؛ وهي طفلة صغيرة، بالقرب من جدها، وتمكنت من الوصول إلى السلاح الناري.
وأثناء تعامل الطفلة مع السلاح، خرجت منه طلقة نارية عن طريق الخطأ، أصابت جدها، ما أدى إلى إصابته بإصابة بالغة انتهت بوفاته.
وانتقلت الأجهزة الأمنية إلى محل الواقعة فور الإبلاغ عنها، حيث أجرت المعاينات والفحوص اللازمة، بالتزامن مع اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية المتعلقة بالحادث.
ونُقل جثمان المجني عليه إلى مشرحة (زينهم)، بناءً على قرار جهات التحقيق، التي باشرت فحص ملابسات الواقعة واستكمال التحريات للوقوف على تفاصيلها.
كما جرى عرض الجثمان على الطب الشرعي لإجراء الصفة التشريحية، وتحديد سبب الوفاة وبيان طبيعة الإصابة وكيفية حدوثها.
وبعد استكمال الإجراءات القانونية والحصول على التصاريح اللازمة للدفن، شُيّع جثمان المتوفى إلى مثواه الأخير، وسط حالة من الحزن بين أفراد أسرته وذويه، في واقعة أعادت التذكير بخطورة ترك الأسلحة النارية في متناول الأطفال.
In a tragic incident, the brother of a member of the Egyptian Parliament lost his life in the Al-Marj area of Cairo; as a result of being shot accidentally by a firearm that was in his possession, after his young granddaughter reached the weapon without realizing the danger of handling it.
According to the investigations and procedures initiated by the security authorities, the incident occurred several days ago, when the granddaughter of the victim, Diaa Darwish, the brother of parliamentarian Said Darwish; a small child, was near her grandfather and managed to access the firearm.
While the child was handling the weapon, a bullet accidentally discharged, hitting her grandfather, which resulted in a severe injury that ultimately led to his death.
The security authorities arrived at the scene immediately after being notified, where they conducted the necessary inspections and examinations, alongside taking the legal actions related to the incident.
The body of the victim was transferred to the Zainhum morgue, based on the decision of the investigative authorities, which began examining the circumstances of the incident and completing the investigations to ascertain its details.
The body was also presented to forensic medicine for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, the nature of the injury, and how it occurred.
After completing the legal procedures and obtaining the necessary permits for burial, the deceased was laid to rest in his final resting place, amidst a state of sorrow among his family and loved ones, in an incident that reminded everyone of the dangers of leaving firearms within reach of children.
