لم تكن صرخات الصغير مجرد بكاء عابر في ليلة هادئة بمدينة أشمون بمحافظة المنوفية المصرية، بل كانت الاستغاثة الأخيرة لطاقة جسدية لم تتحمل القسوة. فتحت سقف منزل الأسرة، تحولت نية «التأديب» في لحظات طيش إلى ساحة تعذيب دامية انتهت بنهاية مأساوية هزت أركان الشارع المصري.
الفاجعة انكشفت أستارها فور وصول الطفل إلى مستشفى أشمون العام جثة هامدة، إذ ذُهل الأطباء في قسم الطوارئ من مشاهد الكدمات والسحجات الممتدة على أطراف جسده الغض، وهو ما أطلق إنذار الشبهة الجنائية فوراً لدى الأجهزة الأمنية.
كواليس التحريات التي أجرتها فرق المباحث أزاحت الستار عن اللحظات الأخيرة المرعبة، إذ تبين أن الأب تجرد من عاطفته واستخدم حبلاً للفتك بطفله بضراوة شديدة، بدعوى فرض السيطرة ومعاقبته على خطأ صغير.
وظل الأب يوالي ضرباته المبرحة دون مراعاة لضعف بنية ابنه، حتى سقط الطفل فجأة على الأرض فاقداً للوعي والتنفس. وعندها فقط أدرك الأب حجم الكارثة، وهرول به في محاولة يائسة لإسعافه، لكن روح الصغير كانت قد فاضت إلى بارئها قبل الوصول إلى أيدي الأطباء.
وفي مقر مركز الشرطة، انهار الأب المتهم في نوبة بكاء هستيرية عقب إلقاء القبض عليه، مكرراً بنبرة نادمة أنه «لم يقصد سلب حياة طفله»، وأن الغضب أفقده صوابه في تلك اللحظة الشيطانية.
وأمام هول الجريمة وبشاعة نتائجها، أصدرت النيابة العامة أوامرها الحازمة:
- حبس المتهم 4 أيام على ذمة التحقيقات بتهمة الضرب المفضي إلى الموت.
- ندب الطب الشرعي لتشريح الجثمان وبيان السبب الطبي الدقيق لوفاة الطفل.
- التصريح بالدفن عقب انتهاء التقرير، مع التكليف بسرعة إنجاز التحريات النهائية حول الواقعة.
The cries of the little one were not just a fleeting cry on a quiet night in Ashmoun, in the Menoufia Governorate of Egypt, but rather the last plea of a physical energy that could not withstand the cruelty. Under the roof of the family home, the intention of "discipline" turned in moments of recklessness into a bloody torture chamber that ended in a tragic conclusion that shook the foundations of Egyptian society.
The tragedy revealed its curtains as soon as the child arrived at Ashmoun General Hospital as a lifeless body, as the doctors in the emergency department were stunned by the scenes of bruises and abrasions covering the tender parts of his body, which immediately raised suspicions of criminal wrongdoing among the security forces.
The behind-the-scenes investigations conducted by the police teams unveiled the terrifying last moments, as it became clear that the father had stripped himself of emotion and used a rope to brutally assault his child, claiming it was to impose control and punish him for a minor mistake.
The father continued to deliver brutal blows without regard for his son's frail build, until the child suddenly collapsed on the ground, unconscious and not breathing. Only then did the father realize the magnitude of the disaster, and he rushed him in a desperate attempt to save him, but the little one's spirit had already departed before reaching the hands of the doctors.
At the police station, the accused father broke down in a fit of hysterical crying after being arrested, repeatedly stating in a remorseful tone that he "did not intend to take his child's life," and that anger had robbed him of his senses in that devilish moment.
In light of the horror of the crime and the brutality of its results, the public prosecutor issued its firm orders:
- To detain the accused for 4 days pending investigations on the charge of assault leading to death.
- To appoint forensic medicine to perform an autopsy and determine the precise medical cause of the child's death.
- To permit burial after the report is completed, with a directive to expedite the final investigations into the incident.
