في حادثة غريبة وصادمة، تحوّل مشهد بسيط على الطريق إلى بداية مأساة صحية خطيرة، بعدما انتهى قرار غير متوقع برجل في الأربعين من عمره داخل غرفة العناية المركزة، بين الحياة والموت بعد مادة لم تكن سوى جزء من نبات يبدو بريئاً في ظاهره، لكنه شديد السُمّية في حقيقته.
ودخل رجل يبلغ من العمر 40 عاماً في حالة غيبوبة، ويخضع حالياً لرعاية طبية مكثفة بعد تدهور خطير في وضعه الصحي، وذلك عقب تناوله وردة من شجرة الدفلى في أحد شوارع تركيا.
وتنتشر أشجار الدفلى على نطاق واسع في المدن التركية، بما في ذلك محافظة أيدن الواقعة غرب البلاد، حيث وقعت الحادثة. وتُعد هذه النبتة من النباتات السامة المعروفة، رغم مظهرها الجذاب وألوانها الزاهية.
ووفقاً لتقارير محلية، بدأ الرجل يشعر بوعكة صحية داخل منزله، قبل أن يخبر أسرته بأنه تناول وردة من شجرة دفلى، مرجحاً أن تكون سبب تدهور حالته.
وعلى الفور، تم استدعاء فرق الإسعاف التي نقلته إلى المستشفى، حيث وُضع تحت المراقبة الطبية، إلا أن حالته وُصفت بالحرجة، ما استدعى نقله إلى مستشفى أكثر تخصصاً لتلقي العلاج، وسط آمال أسرته في تعافيه.
ولم تتضح بعد ملابسات الحادثة، وما إذا كان الرجل قد تناول الوردة بدافع التجربة أو نتيجة نصيحة خاطئة من شخص آخر أو عبر محتوى على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.

A 40-year-old man fell into a coma and is currently receiving intensive medical care after a serious deterioration in his health condition, following his consumption of a flower from an oleander tree on a street in Turkey.
Oleander trees are widely spread in Turkish cities, including Aydın province in the west of the country, where the incident occurred. This plant is known to be toxic, despite its attractive appearance and bright colors.
According to local reports, the man began to feel unwell inside his home before informing his family that he had eaten a flower from an oleander tree, suggesting that it might be the cause of his deteriorating condition.
Immediately, ambulance teams were called to transport him to the hospital, where he was placed under medical observation; however, his condition was described as critical, necessitating his transfer to a more specialized hospital for treatment, amid his family's hopes for his recovery.
The circumstances of the incident are still unclear, and it is unknown whether the man consumed the flower out of curiosity, as a result of misguided advice from someone else, or through content on social media.
