في فاجعة مروعة هزت شمال غربي تركيا في ساعة مبكرة من فجر اليوم (السبت)، تحولت ليلة هادئة إلى كابوس حقيقي إثر انفجار عنيف ناجم عن تمديدات الغاز الطبيعي داخل شقة سكنية بالطابق السادس. الانفجار لم يخلف ضحايا ومصابين فحسب، بل أسفر عن مشاهد صادمة وحابسة للأنفاس اجتاحت منصات التواصل الاجتماعي فور وقوعها.
المشهد الأكثر رعباً وصدمة أظهر شخصين ممددين على الأرض أسفل المبنى السكني، إذ تبين أن شدة ضغط الانفجار كانت من القوة بمكان بحيث أدت إلى انهيار جدران الشقة بالكامل في الطابق السادس، وقذفت الضحيتين من هذا الارتفاع الشاهق ليلقيا حتفهما في الحال على الرصيف.
وانتشرت حالة من الذعر الهستيري الصاخب وسط عويل السكان الذين هرعوا إلى الشوارع في الظلام، بينما كانت النيران وأعمدة الدخان تتصاعد من قمة المبنى المنكوب.
وتسببت الواقعة التي شهدتها محافظة «تيكيرداغ» التركية في أضرار مادية جسيمة جعلت المنطقة المحيطة تبدو وكأنها تعرضت لقصف عسكري، إذ شملت آثار الدمار النقاط التالية:
- تدمير الواجهة: انهيار وتطاير كامل لواجهة المبنى السكني بالطابق السادس.
- سحق السيارات: تضرر وتكسير عدد كبير من السيارات المتوقفة أسفل المبنى نتيجة تساقط الكتل الخرسانية والركام عليها.
- الحطام المتطاير: تحول الشارع إلى حقل من الزجاج المهشم والشظايا المعدنية التي انتشرت في محيط مئات الأمتار.
وفور الإبلاغ عن الكارثة هرعت فرق الإطفاء والإنقاذ وسيارات الإسعاف إلى الموقع، وفرضت السلطات طوقاً أمنياً مشدداً، وبدأت المساعي لتفقد الهيكل الإنشائي للمبنى لضمان عدم انهياره.
وحتى الآن، أسفرت الحصيلة الرسمية عن مصرع شخصين وإصابة آخرين بجروح متفاوتة الخطورة لم تتضح مستجداتها الطبية بعد، في حين باشرت الجهات المختصة تحقيقات موسعة لفك لغز الانفجار ومعرفة المتسبب في تسريب شبكة الغاز الطبيعي المخصصة للتدفئة والطهي داخل الشقة المنكوبة.
In a horrific tragedy that shook northwestern Turkey in the early hours of this morning (Saturday), a quiet night turned into a real nightmare following a violent explosion caused by natural gas installations inside an apartment on the sixth floor. The explosion not only left victims and injured individuals but also resulted in shocking and breath-taking scenes that swept across social media immediately after it occurred.
The most terrifying and shocking scene showed two people lying on the ground beneath the residential building, as it became clear that the intensity of the explosion was so powerful that it caused the complete collapse of the apartment walls on the sixth floor, hurling the victims from that great height to meet their fate instantly on the sidewalk.
A state of hysterical panic spread among the residents who rushed into the streets in the dark, while flames and columns of smoke rose from the top of the damaged building.
The incident that took place in the Turkish province of "Tekirdağ" caused significant material damage, making the surrounding area look as if it had been subjected to military bombardment, as the effects of the destruction included the following points:
- Facade destruction: Complete collapse and disintegration of the facade of the residential building on the sixth floor.
- Crushed cars: Damage and shattering of a large number of cars parked beneath the building due to falling concrete blocks and debris.
- Flying debris: The street turned into a field of shattered glass and metal shards that spread over hundreds of meters.
As soon as the disaster was reported, firefighting and rescue teams, along with ambulances, rushed to the site, and the authorities imposed a strict security cordon, beginning efforts to inspect the structural integrity of the building to ensure it would not collapse.
So far, the official toll has resulted in the death of two individuals and injuries to others with varying degrees of severity, the medical updates of which have not yet been clarified, while the relevant authorities have initiated extensive investigations to unravel the mystery of the explosion and determine the cause of the gas leak from the natural gas network designated for heating and cooking inside the affected apartment.
