أطلقت الصين اليوم، مجموعة جديدة من الأقمار الاصطناعية إلى الفضاء من مركز تاييوان لإطلاق الأقمار في مقاطعة شانشي شمالي الصين، بهدف تعزيز الإنترنت الفضائي.
وتم إطلاق المجموعة في تمام الساعة 5:30 مساءً (بتوقيت بكين) على متن صاروخ حامل مُعدَّل من طراز لونغ مارش-6، ودخلت بنجاح مدارها المخطط لها.
وستشكل هذه المجموعة جزءاً من كوكبة سبيس سيل، وهي شبكة صينية تجارية ضخمة للأقمار الاصطناعية تعمل في المدار الأرضي المنخفض، وتُستخدم لبناء شبكة إنترنت فضائي عالمية فائقة السرعة.
ويمثل هذا الإطلاق المهمة رقم 655 لسلسلة الصواريخ الحاملة من طراز لونغ مارش، وفقاً لمركز الإطلاق.
جدير بالذكر أن المهمة رقم 654 من السلسلة ذاتها، كانت قد انطلقت في 2 يوليو الجاري، حاملة قمراً صناعياً لرصد بيئة محيطات العالم، وقياس أمواجها ودرجات حرارتها ورياحها.
China launched a new batch of satellites into space today from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province, northern China, aimed at enhancing space internet.
The batch was launched at 5:30 PM (Beijing time) aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket and successfully entered its planned orbit.
This batch will be part of the Space Silk constellation, which is a massive Chinese commercial satellite network operating in low Earth orbit, used to build a global ultra-fast space internet network.
This launch marks the 655th mission of the Long March carrier rocket series, according to the launch center.
It is worth noting that the 654th mission of the same series was launched on July 2, carrying a satellite for monitoring the world's ocean environment, measuring its waves, temperatures, and winds.
