تحولت لحظة إهمال داخل منزل إلى قضية جنائية انتهت بحكم قضائي، بعدما تعرض رضيع لمضاعفات صحية خطيرة إثر تناوله مادة مخدرة تركها والده في متناول يده، في واقعة أثارت صدمة واسعة وأعادت تسليط الضوء على مخاطر الإهمال الأسري.
وقضت محكمة الجنايات بمحافظة الجيزة في مصر بمعاقبة أب بالسجن لمدة ثلاث سنوات، بعد إدانته بتهم تتعلق بالإهمال والتسبب في إصابة طفله الرضيع، فضلاً عن حيازة مواد مخدرة بقصد التعاطي.
وكانت النيابة العامة قد أحالت المتهم إلى المحاكمة الجنائية، بعدما وجهت إليه اتهامات بإحراز مادتي الحشيش والترامادول المخدرتين بغرض التعاطي، بالمخالفة لأحكام القانون.
كما نسبت إليه التسبب، عن طريق الخطأ، في إصابة نجله البالغ من العمر عاماً واحداً، نتيجة تقصيره وعدم اتخاذ الاحتياطات اللازمة، بعدما ترك مواد مخدرة داخل علبة سجائر في مكان يسهل على الطفل الوصول إليه.
وأظهرت التحقيقات أن المتهم اعتاد تعاطي المواد المخدرة، وأن الطفل عثر على علبة السجائر أثناء وجوده بالمنزل، قبل أن يتناول قطعة من جوهر الحشيش الموجود بداخلها، ما تسبب في تعرضه لأعراض صحية استدعت التدخل الطبي.
وكشفت أوراق القضية أن المتهم أقر بملابسات الواقعة خلال التحقيقات الأولية، فيما أكدت الفحوصات الطبية والتحاليل المعملية إيجابية عينته لمادتي الحشيش والترامادول.
كما أثبتت نتائج التحاليل الخاصة بالطفل وجود آثار لجوهر الحشيش المخدر في عينة الفحص، وهو ما عزز الأدلة المقدمة أمام المحكمة وأسهم في إدانة المتهم بالحكم الصادر بحقه.
A moment of negligence inside a home turned into a criminal case that ended with a judicial ruling, after an infant suffered serious health complications due to ingesting a narcotic substance left within his reach by his father, in an incident that sparked widespread shock and renewed focus on the dangers of familial neglect.
The criminal court in Giza, Egypt, sentenced a father to three years in prison after convicting him of charges related to negligence and causing injury to his infant child, in addition to possessing narcotic substances with the intent to use.
The public prosecution had referred the accused to criminal trial after charging him with possessing the narcotic substances hashish and tramadol for the purpose of use, in violation of the law.
He was also accused of accidentally causing injury to his one-year-old son due to his negligence and failure to take necessary precautions, after leaving narcotic substances inside a cigarette pack in a place easily accessible to the child.
Investigations revealed that the accused was accustomed to using narcotic substances, and that the child found the cigarette pack while at home, before ingesting a piece of the hashish contained within it, which led to health symptoms that required medical intervention.
Case documents indicated that the accused admitted to the circumstances of the incident during initial investigations, while medical examinations and laboratory tests confirmed the positive presence of hashish and tramadol in his samples.
Results from tests on the child also showed traces of the narcotic substance hashish in the examination sample, which strengthened the evidence presented before the court and contributed to the conviction of the accused with the ruling issued against him.
