رحبت رابطة العالم الإسلامي بالبيان الصادر عن أعضاء مجلس الأمن يوم الجمعة 7 أغسطس 2026، الذي دان الهجمات التي شنتها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية ضد المملكة العربية السعودية وضد السفن التجارية.
وفي بيان للأمانة العامة للرابطة، نوّه الأمين العام رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى بما أكد عليه البيان من ضرورة الالتزام بالقانون الدولي وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة، وفي مقدمتها القرار 2216، واحترام سيادة الجمهورية اليمنية ووحدتها واستقلالها وسلامة أراضيها، ورفض الأعمال التي تهدد الأمن الإقليمي والملاحة البحرية.
وجدد -باسم مجامع الرابطة وهيئاتها ومجالسها العالمية، وباسم كافة الشعوب الإسلامية المنضوية تحت مظلتها- تأكيد التضامن الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لردع المعتدين، وحفظ أمنها وسيادتها، وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، وكذلك كامل التضامن والدعم لجهود الحكومة اليمنية الشرعية، وكافة الجهود الدولية الرامية لتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار لليمن وشعبه.
The Muslim World League welcomed the statement issued by the members of the Security Council on Friday, August 7, 2026, which condemned the attacks carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and against commercial vessels.
In a statement from the General Secretariat of the League, the Secretary-General, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, highlighted the statement's emphasis on the necessity of adhering to international law and relevant Security Council resolutions, foremost among them Resolution 2216, and respecting the sovereignty, unity, independence, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen, as well as rejecting actions that threaten regional security and maritime navigation.
He reiterated - on behalf of the League's assemblies, its bodies, and its global councils, and on behalf of all the Islamic peoples under its umbrella - full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter aggressors, safeguard its security and sovereignty, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, as well as complete solidarity and support for the efforts of the legitimate Yemeni government and all international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability for Yemen and its people.
