في خطوة تعكس تحسناً تدريجياً في أوضاع الحركة الجوية بالمنطقة، أعلنت شركة مصر للطيران، الناقل الوطني المصري، بدء تسيير رحلات جوية منتظمة إلى 3 وجهات خليجية رئيسية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وذلك بالتنسيق الكامل مع سلطات الطيران المدني المعنية في الإمارات.
وبحسب البيان الرسمي الصادر عن الشركة، سيبدأ التشغيل التدريجي اعتباراً من الاثنين، برحلة يومية واحدة إلى مدينة الشارقة، ورحلتين يومياً إلى دبي، أما رحلات أبوظبي فسوف تنطلق رحلة يومية واحدة اعتباراً من الثلاثاء، وفقاً للتنسيق المباشر مع سلطات مطار أبوظبي.
يأتي هذا الإعلان في سياق استئناف محدود وتدريجي للحركة الجوية في مطارات دبي وأبوظبي والشارقة، بعد أيام من تعليق واسع النطاق للرحلات الجوية في المنطقة جراء تصاعد التوترات الإقليمية والمخاوف الأمنية المرتبطة بالصراع الدائر، الذي أدى إلى إغلاق مؤقت لعدة مجالات جوية وتعليق رحلات مصر للطيران إلى نحو 13 وجهة عربية وخليجية في وقت سابق من الشهر.
وكانت مصر للطيران قد أعلنت في الأيام الماضية استئناف بعض الرحلات الإضافية إلى دبي والدمام بدءاً من 6 مارس، في إطار جهودها لتلبية الطلب المتزايد على السفر، خصوصاً لعودة المصريين العالقين أو المسافرين لأغراض عمل وسياحة، مع التأكيد على أولوية السلامة الجوية والتنسيق المستمر مع الجهات المعنية.
وأكدت مصر للطيران أن الجدول التشغيلي الحالي يظل محدوداً وخاضعاً للتعديل حسب تطورات الوضع الأمني والجوي، داعية المسافرين إلى التحقق من حالة الرحلات عبر الموقع الرسمي لمصر للطيران أو مركز الاتصالات قبل التوجه إلى المطار، وكذلك إمكانية تعديل مواعيد السفر دون رسوم إضافية حتى 15 مارس 2026 للمتضررين من الإلغاءات السابقة.
ويُعد هذا الاستئناف التدريجي خطوة إيجابية نحو استعادة الروابط الجوية بين مصر ودول الخليج، التي تشكل شرياناً حيوياً للحركة التجارية والسياحية والاجتماعية بين الجانبين، وسط آمال بتحسن الأوضاع الإقليمية قريباً لاستعادة التشغيل الكامل.
In a move that reflects a gradual improvement in air traffic conditions in the region, EgyptAir, the national carrier of Egypt, announced the commencement of regular flights to three major Gulf destinations in the United Arab Emirates, in full coordination with the relevant civil aviation authorities in the UAE.
According to the official statement issued by the company, gradual operations will begin on Monday, with one daily flight to Sharjah, and two daily flights to Dubai. As for Abu Dhabi flights, one daily flight will start on Tuesday, in direct coordination with Abu Dhabi Airport authorities.
This announcement comes in the context of a limited and gradual resumption of air traffic at Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah airports, following days of widespread suspension of flights in the region due to escalating regional tensions and security concerns related to the ongoing conflict, which led to the temporary closure of several airspaces and the suspension of EgyptAir flights to about 13 Arab and Gulf destinations earlier this month.
EgyptAir had announced in recent days the resumption of some additional flights to Dubai and Dammam starting from March 6, as part of its efforts to meet the increasing demand for travel, especially for the return of stranded Egyptians or travelers for work and tourism purposes, while emphasizing the priority of air safety and ongoing coordination with the relevant authorities.
EgyptAir confirmed that the current operational schedule remains limited and subject to modification based on developments in the security and air situation, urging travelers to check the status of flights via the official EgyptAir website or the call center before heading to the airport, as well as the possibility of changing travel dates without additional fees until March 15, 2026, for those affected by previous cancellations.
This gradual resumption is a positive step towards restoring air links between Egypt and Gulf countries, which form a vital artery for commercial, tourism, and social movement between both sides, amid hopes for an improvement in regional conditions soon to restore full operations.
