شهد الشارع المصري صدمة كبيرة بعد اكتشاف أن صاحب محل نظارات استغل سطح منزله في زراعة نبات الحشيش بطريقة احترافية، وتصديره سراً عبر البريد إلى الداخل والخارج، في واحدة من أخطر قضايا المخدرات في المحافظة خلال السنوات الأخيرة.
وكشف وكيل النائب العام المستشار محمد علي حسان في مرافعة قوية أمام محكمة جنايات الإسكندرية كيف أن المتهم (و.ال.م) لم يكتفِ بالتعاطي، بل أصبح محترفًا في تجارة المخدرات، مستخدمًا أساليب ذكية لإخفاء نشاطه، من جلب بذور القنب من الخارج، إلى استخدام أدوات حديثة للزراعة فوق منزله، وشحنها عبر البريد مخفيّة داخل طرود وأشياء عادية، لتجنب الرقابة.
وكيل النائب العام أوضح أن المتهم نشر الفساد بين آخرين وسعى لتوسيع نشاطه ليصل إلى التصدير لدول عربية، مؤكدًا أن فعله يمثل تهديدًا مباشرًا لسلامة المجتمع.
وبدأت الواقعة عندما تلقت الأجهزة الأمنية إخطارًا بضبط المتهم، وعند تفتيش محلّه ومنزله عُثر على بذور الحشيش، وأواني الزراعة، ومواد كيميائية، وأجهزة متخصصة، إضافة إلى مبالغ مالية وهواتف تُستخدم في نشاطه الإجرامي.
وفي النهاية، قضت محكمة جنايات الإسكندرية بالسجن المؤبد على المتهم، وتغريمه 500 ألف جنيه، مع إلزامه بالمصاريف الجنائية، لتكون رسالة واضحة بأن القانون لن يتهاون مع من يحاول نشر المخدرات في المجتمع.
The Egyptian street experienced a great shock after discovering that the owner of an optical shop had exploited the roof of his house to cultivate cannabis professionally and secretly export it via mail both domestically and internationally, in one of the most dangerous drug cases in the governorate in recent years.
Public Prosecutor's Assistant Counselor Mohamed Ali Hassan revealed in a strong plea before the Alexandria Criminal Court how the accused (W.A.M) not only engaged in drug use but became a professional in drug trafficking, employing clever methods to conceal his activities, from importing cannabis seeds from abroad to using modern tools for cultivation on his roof, and shipping them via mail hidden inside packages and ordinary items to avoid detection.
The Public Prosecutor's Assistant clarified that the accused spread corruption among others and sought to expand his activities to include exporting to Arab countries, emphasizing that his actions pose a direct threat to the safety of the community.
The incident began when security agencies received a notification about the arrest of the accused, and upon searching his shop and home, cannabis seeds, planting pots, chemical materials, specialized devices, as well as cash and phones used in his criminal activities were found.
In the end, the Alexandria Criminal Court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment and fined him 500,000 Egyptian pounds, obliging him to pay the legal expenses, sending a clear message that the law will not tolerate those who attempt to spread drugs in society.
