أعلنت وزارة الخارجية المصرية، عن متابعة حثيثة لأوضاع أربعة مواطنين مصريين يعملون على متن ناقلة نفط محتجزة لدى السلطات الإيرانية، بعد تداول مقطع فيديو استغاثة نشره أحد البحارة المصريين على مواقع التواصل.
ووجه وزير الخارجية المصري بدر عبدالعاطي، بسرعة تحرك القطاع القنصلي والمصريين بالخارج لمتابعة التطورات واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة كافة لضمان سلامة المواطنين المصريين وإعادتهم سالمين إلى أرض الوطن.
جاء ذلك بعد تداول مقطع فيديو على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي يظهر أحد البحارة المصريين على متن السفينة «ريم الخليج»، التي تم احتجازها من قبل السلطات الإيرانية في ميناء بندر عباس جنوب إيران، قبالة سواحل جزيرة قشم في الخليج العربي.
تحركات مصرية عاجلة
وصرح مساعد وزير الخارجية للشؤون القنصلية والمصريين في الخارج السفير حمدي الجوهري، أن الوزارة وجهت مكتب رعاية المصالح المصرية في طهران بالتواصل الفوري مع السلطات الإيرانية المختصة، وأكدت الاتصالات الأولية وجود أربعة مواطنين مصريين على متن السفينة «ريم الخليج» المحتجزة في ميناء بندر عباس جنوب إيران.
وأضاف السفير الجوهري أنه تم تكليف أحد أعضاء مكتب رعاية المصالح المصرية في طهران بالتوجه فوراً إلى ميناء بندر عباس لتقديم المساعدات القنصلية والقانونية اللازمة للبحارة الأربعة، والعمل على تسريع إجراءات الإفراج عنهم وعودتهم إلى مصر.
واحتجزت السلطات الإيرانية السفينة «ريم الخليج» منذ أكثر من شهر، ووجهت لها اتهامات تتعلق بـ«تهريب مواد بترولية» وقُدرت الغرامات المفروضة عليها بنحو 14 مليون دولار أمريكي وفق بعض المصادر.
وتأتي هذه الحادثة في سياق توترات متكررة في منطقة الخليج العربي ومضيق هرمز، حيث سبق أن احتجزت إيران عدة ناقلات نفط أجنبية خلال السنوات الماضية بتهم مشابهة تتعلق بالانتهاكات البحرية أو العقوبات الدولية.
استغاثة مدوية
وبحسب استغاثة نشرها مصري يعمل كبير ضباط بحريين على متن السفينة المحتجزة من يوم 23 ديسمبر 2025 أثناء عبورها مضيق هرمز، وهو ممر ملاحي دولي، بشحنة بترول رسمية صادرة من إمارة الشارقة، وكانت تحمل أوراقاً قانونية معتمدة، كما قامت باستلام شحنة مواد بترولية من سفينة أخرى تابعة لنفس الشركة المالكة، في إطار إجراءات تجارية معتادة ومشروعة.
وأشار إلى أن السلطات الإيرانية قامت بإدخال السفينة إلى المياه الإقليمية الإيرانية، والتحفظ على جميع المواد البترولية الموجودة على متنها، بدعوى الاشتباه في عمليات تهريب.
وأوضح أن السلطات الإيرانية فرضت غرامات مالية قدرها 14 مليون دولار، بواقع 3.5 مليون دولار على كل فرد من طاقم السفينة، مطالبين الشركة المالكة بسداد المبلغ، وإلا سيتعرض البحّارة للحبس.
وأشار إلى أن الكابتن تواصل مع الشركة المالكة، التي أفادت بوجود محامٍ يتولى متابعة الأزمة، إلا أنه حتى يوم أمس تبيّن أن الغرامة أصبحت رسمية ونهائية، وأن خطر السجن بات وشيكاً في حال عدم السداد.
وفي ختام استغاثتهم، وجّه البحّارة وأسرهم مناشدة عاجلة إلى السلطات المصرية، مطالبين بالتدخل لحمايتهم، مؤكدين أنهم لا ذنب لهم في أي نزاع قانوني أو تجاري، وأن استمرار احتجازهم يمثل خطراً على مستقبلهم وسلامتهم.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it is closely monitoring the situation of four Egyptian citizens working aboard an oil tanker detained by Iranian authorities, following the circulation of a distress video posted by one of the Egyptian sailors on social media.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel Aty, directed the consular sector and Egyptians abroad to quickly follow up on developments and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of the Egyptian citizens and their return home safely.
This came after a video circulated on social media showing one of the Egyptian sailors aboard the ship "Reem Al-Khaleej," which has been detained by Iranian authorities at the port of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran, off the coast of Qeshm Island in the Arabian Gulf.
Urgent Egyptian Actions
The Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs and Egyptians Abroad, Ambassador Hamdi Al-Johari, stated that the ministry has directed the office for the protection of Egyptian interests in Tehran to immediately communicate with the relevant Iranian authorities. Initial communications confirmed the presence of four Egyptian citizens aboard the detained ship "Reem Al-Khaleej" at the port of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran.
Ambassador Al-Johari added that one member of the office for the protection of Egyptian interests in Tehran has been tasked with heading immediately to the port of Bandar Abbas to provide the necessary consular and legal assistance to the four sailors and to expedite their release and return to Egypt.
The Iranian authorities have detained the ship "Reem Al-Khaleej" for more than a month, accusing it of "smuggling petroleum materials," with fines imposed on it estimated at around 14 million US dollars according to some sources.
This incident comes amid recurring tensions in the Arabian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, where Iran has previously detained several foreign oil tankers over the past years on similar charges related to maritime violations or international sanctions.
Desperate Distress Call
According to a distress call published by an Egyptian senior marine officer aboard the detained ship since December 23, 2025, while it was crossing the Strait of Hormuz, an international shipping lane, with an official oil shipment issued from the Emirate of Sharjah, and it carried certified legal documents. It also received a shipment of petroleum materials from another ship belonging to the same owning company, as part of usual and legitimate commercial procedures.
He pointed out that the Iranian authorities brought the ship into Iranian territorial waters and seized all the petroleum materials on board, claiming suspicion of smuggling operations.
He explained that the Iranian authorities imposed financial fines amounting to 14 million dollars, at a rate of 3.5 million dollars on each crew member, demanding the owning company to pay the amount, or else the sailors would face imprisonment.
He noted that the captain contacted the owning company, which stated that a lawyer was following up on the crisis; however, as of yesterday, it became clear that the fine had become official and final, and the risk of imprisonment was imminent if payment was not made.
In conclusion of their distress call, the sailors and their families urgently appealed to the Egyptian authorities, demanding intervention for their protection, affirming that they bear no responsibility in any legal or commercial dispute, and that their continued detention poses a threat to their future and safety.
