رفع وزير البلديات والإسكان ماجد بن عبدالله الحقيل الشكر والتقدير لمجلس الوزراء على ما حظي به برنامج الإسكان من إشادة وتقدير، مؤكداً أن هذا الدعم يجسّد ما توليه الدولة من اهتمام بالغ وأولوية لقطاع الإسكان بوصفه إحدى ركائز التنمية الشاملة.
وأوضح وزير الإسكان أن الجهود التي بُذلت في إطار برنامج الإسكان أسهمت -بفضل الله- في رفع نسبة تملك المواطنين للمساكن إلى (66.2%) بنهاية عام 2025، إلى جانب وصول عدد المستفيدين من الدعم السكني إلى أكثر من مليون مستفيد، مشيراً إلى أن هذه النتائج تعكس تكامل الجهود بين منظومة الإسكان والجهات ذات العلاقة.
وأضاف الحقيل أن تقدير مجلس الوزراء يُمثّل دافعاً قوياً لمواصلة العمل، وتعزيز المبادرات والبرامج الهادفة إلى تمكين المواطنين من تملك السكن الملائم، وتحقيق الاستدامة في القطاع السكني.
وأكد وزير البلديات والإسكان الاستمرار في تطوير الحلول السكنية وتنويع الخيارات التمويلية والتنظيمية، بما يسهم في رفع جودة الحياة، ويواكب مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، ويلبي تطلعات المواطنين في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hoqail, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Council of Ministers for the recognition and appreciation received by the housing program, affirming that this support embodies the state's significant interest and priority in the housing sector as one of the pillars of comprehensive development.
The Minister of Housing explained that the efforts made within the framework of the housing program have contributed - thanks to God - to raising the percentage of home ownership among citizens to (66.2%) by the end of 2025, in addition to the number of beneficiaries of housing support reaching more than one million beneficiaries, noting that these results reflect the integration of efforts between the housing system and related entities.
Al-Hoqail added that the Council of Ministers' appreciation represents a strong motivation to continue working and to enhance initiatives and programs aimed at enabling citizens to own suitable housing and achieving sustainability in the housing sector.
The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing affirmed the continuation of developing housing solutions and diversifying financing and regulatory options, which contributes to improving the quality of life, aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and meets the aspirations of citizens in various regions of the Kingdom.
