لقي 5 أشخاص مصرعهم وأصيب 38 آخرون بجروح متفاوتة الخطورة، إثر حادثة مرورية مروّعة وقعت على الطريق الوطني رقم 46 بمنطقة مردود التابعة لبلدية بن سرور في ولاية المسيلة شرق الجزائر.
وأوضحت مصالح الحماية المدنية الجزائرية، في بيان نشرته عبر صفحتها الرسمية على موقع فيسبوك، أنها تدخلت صباح الأحد عقب تلقي بلاغ بوقوع تصادم عنيف بين حافلة لنقل المسافرين كانت تؤمّن خط وادي سوف – تلمسان وشاحنة، وذلك على مستوى الطريق الوطني رقم 46.
وفور وقوع الحادثة، سخّرت مصالح الحماية المدنية سبع سيارات إسعاف وشاحنة إنقاذ للتعامل مع الحادثة، حيث جرى تقديم الإسعافات الأولية للمصابين في موقع الحادثة، إلى جانب العمل على إزالة آثار التصادم من الطريق لضمان استئناف الحركة المرورية بشكل طبيعي.
كما تم نقل جثامين الضحايا إلى مصلحة حفظ الجثث بالمستشفى المحلي، في حين جرى تحويل المصابين إلى المستشفى ذاته لتلقي العلاج والرعاية الطبية اللازمة.
Five people lost their lives and 38 others were injured with varying degrees of severity as a result of a horrific traffic accident that occurred on National Road No. 46 in the Merdoud area, part of the Ben Sarour municipality in the M'sila province, eastern Algeria.
The Algerian Civil Protection services stated in a statement published on their official Facebook page that they intervened on Sunday morning after receiving a report of a violent collision between a passenger bus servicing the Ouargla-Tlemcen route and a truck, on National Road No. 46.
Immediately after the accident, the Civil Protection services deployed seven ambulances and a rescue truck to handle the incident, where first aid was provided to the injured at the scene, in addition to working on clearing the debris from the road to ensure the resumption of traffic flow normally.
The bodies of the victims were transferred to the morgue at the local hospital, while the injured were taken to the same hospital for necessary treatment and medical care.
