وجهت السلطات النرويجية تهماً إضافية جديدة إلى ماريوس بورغ هويبي (28 عاماً)، نجل ولية العهد الأميرة ميت-ماريت، ليصل إجمالي التهم الموجهة إليه إلى 38 تهمة، وذلك قبل أقل من أسبوعين من بدء محاكمته في محكمة أوسلو يوم 3 فبراير.
وأكدت النيابة العامة في أوسلو أن التكميلية الجديدة تشمل تهمة جنائية خطيرة بالمخدرات تتعلق بنقل 3.5 كيلوغرام من الماريجوانا من لورنسكوغ إلى تونسبيرغ في يوليو 2020، إلى جانب انتهاك أمر تقييدي ضد إحدى الشريكات السابقات، وعدة مخالفات مرورية مرتبطة بتصوير نفسه أثناء قيادة دراجة نارية بسرعة مفرطة.
وتضاف هذه التهم إلى الـ32 تهمة الأساسية التي وجهت في أغسطس 2025، والتي تشمل أربع تهم اغتصاب بما في ذلك اغتصاب أثناء النوم، وممارسة العنف والإيذاء في علاقة حميمة ضد شريكة سابقة، واعتداءات جسدية، وتهديدات بالقتل، وتصوير نساء بشكل سري وغير قانوني، انتهاك أوامر تقييدية، ومخالفات أخرى.
وتعتبر القضية من أكبر التحقيقات المتعلقة بالاغتصاب في النرويج في السنوات الأخيرة، مع سبع نساء مدرجات كضحايا محتملات، وقررت السلطات القضائية بدء محاكمته في محكمة أوسلو من 3 فبراير إلى 13 مارس 2026.
وأوضح المدعي العام ستورلا هنريكسبو أن التهم الجديدة ستُنظر فيها خلال الجلسات الرئيسية التي تبدأ في 3 فبراير وتستمر سبعة أسابيع، مشددا على أن «القضية خطيرة للغاية»، مؤكداً أن انتماء هويبي إلى العائلة الملكية (كابن ولية العهد) لن يؤثر على معاملته أمام القانون.
وماريوس بورغ هويبي، هو ابن ولية العهد النرويجية الأميرة ميت-ماريت من علاقة سابقة قبل زواجها من ولي العهد الأمير هاكون، ليس عضواً رسمياً في العائلة الملكية ولا يحمل لقباً ملكياً ولا يؤدي واجبات عامة.
وبدأت القضية بعد اعتقاله بتهمة اعتداء جسدي على صديقته آنذاك في شقتها بأوسلو، حيث اعترف ببعض الاعتداءات الجسدية لكنه نفى التهم الأكثر خطورة.
The Norwegian authorities have brought new additional charges against Marius Borg Høiby (28 years old), the son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit, bringing the total number of charges against him to 38, just under two weeks before his trial begins in Oslo court on February 3.
The Oslo public prosecutor confirmed that the new supplementary charges include a serious criminal drug charge related to the transport of 3.5 kilograms of marijuana from Lørenskog to Tønsberg in July 2020, along with a violation of a restraining order against one of his former partners, and several traffic violations related to filming himself while riding a motorcycle at excessive speed.
These charges are in addition to the 32 original charges brought in August 2025, which include four counts of rape, including rape while asleep, acts of violence and abuse in an intimate relationship against a former partner, physical assaults, death threats, secretly and illegally filming women, violating restraining orders, and other offenses.
The case is considered one of the largest investigations related to rape in Norway in recent years, with seven women listed as potential victims, and the judicial authorities have decided to start his trial in Oslo court from February 3 to March 13, 2026.
Prosecutor Sturla Henriksbo explained that the new charges will be addressed during the main sessions starting on February 3 and lasting for seven weeks, emphasizing that "the case is extremely serious," and confirming that Høiby's connection to the royal family (as the son of the Crown Princess) will not affect his treatment under the law.
Marius Borg Høiby, the son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit from a previous relationship before her marriage to Crown Prince Haakon, is not an official member of the royal family, does not hold a royal title, and does not perform public duties.
The case began after his arrest on charges of physical assault against his then-girlfriend in her apartment in Oslo, where he admitted to some physical assaults but denied the more serious charges.
