شهدت مدينة أنطاليا التركية حادثة مأساوية، حين أقدمت سيدة أوكرانية تُدعى يوليا زهدان، البالغة من العمر 45 عامًا، على الانتحار بالقفز من شرفة الطابق الثامن، بعد مرور يوم واحد فقط على وفاة طفلها البالغ من العمر خمس سنوات بنفس الطريقة.
وبحسب ما أفادت به التحقيقات الأولية، فقد لقي طفل أوكراني يبلغ من العمر خمس سنوات مصرعه إثر حادثة سقوط من شرفة منزل العائلة، وذلك أثناء وجود والدته خارج المنزل لفترة قصيرة. ورغم محاولات إسعافه ونقله بشكل عاجل إلى المستشفى، إلا أن الطفل فارق الحياة متأثرًا بإصاباته.
وأكد الجيران وأفراد من الأسرة أن الأم، وتُدعى يوليا زهدان (45 عامًا)، دخلت في حالة انهيار نفسي حاد فور تلقيها خبر وفاة طفلها، حيث بدت غير قادرة على استيعاب الفاجعة التي ألمّت بها.
وبعد مرور يوم واحد فقط على الحادثة، عُثر على الأم متوفاة في واقعة مماثلة، حيث جرى نقلها إلى المستشفى على الفور، إلا أن محاولات إنقاذها لم تُكلل بالنجاح.
وفتحت السلطات التركية تحقيقا موسّعا للوقوف على ملابسات الحادثة والتأكد من عدم وجود أي شبهة جنائية.
وقد جرى تشييع جثماني الأم وطفلها ودفنهما في مقبرة واحدة، في مشهد مؤثر خلّف حالة من الحزن العميق بين الجيران والمجتمع المحلي، وسط دعوات لتكثيف الدعم النفسي للأسر التي تتعرض لصدمات مفاجئة.
The Turkish city of Antalya witnessed a tragic incident when a 45-year-old Ukrainian woman named Yulia Zhedan committed suicide by jumping from the eighth-floor balcony, just one day after the death of her five-year-old child in the same manner.
According to initial investigations, a five-year-old Ukrainian child died after falling from the family's balcony while his mother was outside the house for a short period. Despite attempts to rescue him and rush him to the hospital, the child succumbed to his injuries.
Neighbors and family members confirmed that the mother, named Yulia Zhedan (45 years old), fell into a state of severe psychological breakdown upon receiving the news of her child's death, as she appeared unable to comprehend the tragedy that had befallen her.
Just one day after the incident, the mother was found dead in a similar situation, and she was immediately taken to the hospital; however, attempts to save her were unsuccessful.
Turkish authorities have opened an extensive investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident and ensure that there are no criminal suspicions.
The bodies of the mother and her child were buried together in one grave, in a poignant scene that left a deep sense of sorrow among neighbors and the local community, amid calls for increased psychological support for families experiencing sudden traumas.
