في واقعة صادمة، كشفت السلطات التركية طريقة تهريب غير تقليدية تمثلت في استخدام الحيوانات الصغيرة لإخفاء المخدرات. ففي محافظة سيرت، ضبطت فرق مكافحة المخدرات 54.6 كيلوغرام من الميثامفيتامين داخل بطون 29 حيوانًا.
وبدأت العملية بعد متابعة دقيقة لشاحنة مشتبه بها في قضاء بايكان. وخلال التفتيش، لاحظت الفرق خياطة غير معتادة على بطون الحيوانات، ما أثار الشكوك ودفعهم لإجراء فحص دقيق. وكانت النتيجة هي العثور على مواد مخدرة مخفية بشكل محكم لتجاوز نقاط التفتيش.
وجرى توقيف شخصين يرمز إليهما بالحرفين ر.م و ك.ي، فيما تستمر التحقيقات لتحديد شبكة التهريب كاملة.
وقالت وزارة الداخلية التركية إن العملية جزء من حملة أمنية ضد أساليب التهريب غير التقليدية، مؤكدين أن الأجهزة المختصة تكثف الرقابة لحماية المجتمع.

The operation began after careful surveillance of a suspicious truck in the district of Baikan. During the inspection, the teams noticed unusual stitching on the animals' bellies, which raised suspicions and prompted them to conduct a thorough examination. The result was the discovery of tightly concealed narcotics intended to bypass checkpoints.
Two individuals, referred to by the initials R.M. and K.Y., were arrested, while investigations continue to identify the entire smuggling network.
The Turkish Ministry of Interior stated that the operation is part of a security campaign against unconventional smuggling methods, emphasizing that the relevant authorities are intensifying monitoring to protect the community.
