من نزاع إلى جريمة قتل.. إحالة مسؤول بشركة شهيرة إلى «الجنايات المصرية»

In an incident that shocked public opinion, a dispute between individuals turned into a murder in the heart of Cairo. The Chief Public Prosecutor of the West Cairo Prosecution referred a responsible person from a famous oil company, an employee from the same company, and four others to the criminal court, accused of killing a citizen and mutilating his body after using force in a brutal manner.

Details of the Incident

Investigations by the prosecution team revealed that the defendants had premeditated the incident to showcase power and threaten violence, preparing tools and sharp weapons. The first defendant contacted the victim's brother to attend a settlement of the dispute, and as soon as the latter arrived with his brother, a barrage of stones and empty bottles erupted, resulting in the victim being struck in the head and falling dead.

Text of the Referral Order

The referral order clarified that the defendants used weapons and tools such as stones, empty bottles, and a machete to terrorize and intimidate the victim and impose control, which led to his death due to the severe injuries he sustained.

Penalty for Bullying

Article 375 bis of the Egyptian Penal Code stipulates a penalty of imprisonment for a period of one to five years for anyone who showcases power or threatens violence with the intent to intimidate or scare a person, or to influence their will to impose dominance over them, with the penalty escalating to death if the act is linked to the crime of intentional murder.

The Public Prosecution has initiated investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident and the responsibility of each accused individual.
