أفرجت وزارة العدل الأمريكية عن دفعة أولى من وثائق وصور صادمة في قضية الملياردير الراحل جيفري إبستين، الذي أدين بجرائم جنسية ضد قاصرات، في خطوة جاءت بعد ضغوط الكونغرس والرأي العام لتنفيذ قانون «شفافية ملفات إبستين».
وتضمنت الوثائق الجديدة صوراً محرجة للرئيس السابق بيل كلينتون مع إبستين، منها صورة له في حوض استحمام ساخن مع شخص وجهه محذوف، وصور تجمعه مع إبستين وشريكة الجريمة المدانة غيسلين ماكسويل.
كما كشفت مذكرات FBI شبكة واسعة لاستقطاب الفتيات القاصرات تحت ستار دعارة التدليك، مع تفاصيل صادمة عن تفضيلات إبستين العمرية والعرقية، إذ أشار إلى رفضه فتيات سمراء وطلبات محددة لجلب فتيات معينات إليه.
واحتوت الدفعة أيضاً على سجلات طيران ورسائل نصية ووثائق تحقيقية، إلا أن معظمها تمت مراجعتها وحُذفت أجزاء كبيرة منها أو صُفّحت باللون الأسود لحماية الضحايا.
وأكد نائب المدعي العام تود بلانش أن الوزارة ستستمر في نشر المزيد من الوثائق خلال الأسابيع المقبلة، لكن نواباً من الحزبين الديمقراطي والجمهوري انتقدوا إصدارها الجزئي، معتبرين أنه يخالف القانون الذي يفرض الكشف الكامل قبل 19 ديسمبر.
يذكر أن إبستين توفي منتحراً في سجنه عام 2019 أثناء انتظار محاكمته، بعد سنوات من إدارة شبكة للاتجار الجنسي بالقاصرات، وارتباطه بشخصيات سياسية وفنية مرموقة، بينها ترمب، والأمير أندرو، وبيل غيتس، ومايكل جاكسون. وأثارت الوثائق الجديدة صدمة وغضباً واسعاً في الرأي العام، وتعيد فتح النقاش حول مدى تورط النخبة العالمية في أنشطة إبستين غير القانونية، مع وعود بكشف مزيد من الأسرار الصادمة خلال الأيام القادمة.
The U.S. Department of Justice has released the first batch of shocking documents and images in the case of the late billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sexual crimes against minors, in a move that came after pressure from Congress and public opinion to implement the "Epstein Files Transparency Act."
The new documents included embarrassing photos of former President Bill Clinton with Epstein, including a picture of him in a hot tub with a person whose face has been obscured, and images of him with Epstein and convicted accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
The FBI memos also revealed a wide network for recruiting underage girls under the guise of massage prostitution, with shocking details about Epstein's age and racial preferences, as he indicated his rejection of brown-skinned girls and specific requests to bring certain girls to him.
The batch also contained flight logs, text messages, and investigative documents, but most of them were reviewed, with large portions redacted or blacked out to protect the victims.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed that the department will continue to release more documents in the coming weeks, but lawmakers from both the Democratic and Republican parties criticized the partial release, considering it a violation of the law that mandates full disclosure before December 19.
It is worth noting that Epstein died by suicide in his jail in 2019 while awaiting trial, after years of running a network for the sexual trafficking of minors, and his connections to prominent political and entertainment figures, including Trump, Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, and Michael Jackson. The new documents have sparked widespread shock and outrage in public opinion, reopening the discussion about the extent of global elites' involvement in Epstein's illegal activities, with promises of revealing more shocking secrets in the coming days.
