في جريمة تقشعر لها الأبدان هزّت مدينة بورصة التركية، قُتلت الشابة الروسية أرزو خليلوفا (20 عاما) بعد أن وجّه إليها صديقها الأذربيجاني (27 عاما) نحو 75 طعنة داخل منزلها في منطقة يلدريم.
وذكرت وسائل إعلام تركية أن خلافا بسيطا بين الطرفين تطوّر سريعا إلى مشادة عنيفة، قبل أن يتحول إلى جريمة دامية، حين استلّ الجاني سكينا وانهال على الضحية بطعنات متتالية في أنحاء جسدها، وسط محاولاتها الاستغاثة.
وأفاد الجيران أنهم سمعوا صرخات استغاثة صادمة تصدر من الشقة، فسارعوا إلى الاتصال بالشرطة التي هرعت إلى الموقع برفقة فرق الإسعاف. وعند اقتحام المنزل، عثروا على الجاني ممسكا بالسكين الملطخة بالدماء وقد بدا في حالة صدمة.
ونُقلت خليلوفا على وجه السرعة إلى مستشفى في بورصة إلا أن إصاباتها البالغة كانت كفيلة بإنهاء حياتها قبل وصولها غرفة العمليات.
وأثارت الحادثة موجة واسعة من الغضب على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، إذ عبّر ناشطون عن استنكارهم لمستوى العنف المروّع ضد النساء في تركيا، مطالبين بتشديد القوانين لحماية الضحايا من جرائم الشرف والعلاقات السامة.
وتواصل الشرطة التركية تحقيقاتها لتحديد دوافع الجريمة، وما إذا كانت هناك مؤشرات مسبقة على نية القتل أو بلاغات سابقة بالعنف الأسري.
In a horrifying crime that shook the Turkish city of Bursa, the young Russian woman Arzu Khalilova (20 years old) was killed after her Azerbaijani boyfriend (27 years old) stabbed her about 75 times inside her home in the Yıldırım district.
Turkish media reported that a minor disagreement between the two quickly escalated into a violent altercation, before turning into a bloody crime, when the perpetrator pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed the victim all over her body, amidst her attempts to call for help.
Neighbors reported hearing shocking cries for help coming from the apartment, prompting them to call the police, who rushed to the scene along with ambulance teams. Upon storming the house, they found the perpetrator holding the blood-stained knife and appearing to be in a state of shock.
Khalilova was rushed to a hospital in Bursa, but her severe injuries were enough to end her life before she could reach the operating room.
The incident sparked widespread outrage on social media, as activists expressed their condemnation of the horrific level of violence against women in Turkey, calling for stricter laws to protect victims from honor crimes and toxic relationships.
The Turkish police continue their investigations to determine the motives behind the crime, and whether there were any prior indications of intent to kill or previous reports of domestic violence.
