هزت مدينة طنجة المغربية فاجعة إنسانية مؤلمة، بعدما لقيت رضيعة في شهرها الثامن مصرعها داخل إحدى دور الحضانة، إثر حادثة مروّعة تورطت فيها طفلة لا يتجاوز عمرها ثماني سنوات، في واقعة أثارت صدمة وغضباً واسعين في الشارع المغربي.
ووفقاً لمصادر إعلامية محلية، فقد كلفت إحدى العاملات في الحضانة الطفلة القاصر بالعناية بالرضيعة لبضع دقائق، قبل أن تفقد السيطرة عليها وتسقطها أرضاً مراراً أثناء محاولتها حملها، ما أدى إلى إصابات خطيرة ونزيف داخلي في الرأس.
ورغم نقل الرضيعة إلى المستشفى على وجه السرعة، فإن الكوادر الطبية عجزت عن إنقاذ حياتها بسبب قوة الإصابات التي تعرضت لها. وفي البداية، حاولت إدارة الحضانة إقناع والدي الطفلة بأن الوفاة ناجمة عن سقوط عرضي من مكان مرتفع، غير أن التحقيقات الأمنية والفحوص الطبية كشفت تفاصيل مغايرة، مؤكدة أن الرضيعة تعرضت لتعنيف متكرر داخل الحضانة.
وعقب الحادثة، أوقفت السلطات المغربية صاحبة الحضانة والعاملة المشرفة، إلى جانب والدي الطفلة المتسببة في الحادثة، بينما سُلّمت الأخيرة إلى أسرتها نظراً لعدم بلوغها السن القانوني للمساءلة الجنائية.
وقد أثار مقطع فيديو من كاميرات المراقبة داخل الحضانة، يوثق اعتداء الطفلة على الرضيعة، موجة غضب كبيرة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي. وطالب ناشطون بضرورة إصلاح قطاع الطفولة المبكرة وتشديد معايير التوظيف والرقابة داخل دور الحضانة، لضمان سلامة الأطفال ومنع تكرار مثل هذه الحوادث المؤلمة.
The Moroccan city of Tangier was shaken by a painful humanitarian tragedy, after an eight-month-old infant lost her life inside a daycare center, following a horrific incident involving a girl no older than eight years, in an event that sparked widespread shock and anger in Moroccan society.
According to local media sources, one of the daycare workers assigned the minor girl to take care of the infant for a few minutes, before losing control of her and dropping her to the ground multiple times while trying to carry her, which led to serious injuries and internal bleeding in the head.
Despite the infant being rushed to the hospital, the medical staff was unable to save her life due to the severity of her injuries. Initially, the daycare management attempted to convince the parents of the girl that the death was due to an accidental fall from a height, but security investigations and medical examinations revealed different details, confirming that the infant had been subjected to repeated abuse inside the daycare.
Following the incident, Moroccan authorities arrested the owner of the daycare and the supervising worker, along with the parents of the girl responsible for the incident, while the latter was handed over to her family due to her not reaching the legal age for criminal accountability.
A video clip from surveillance cameras inside the daycare, documenting the girl's assault on the infant, triggered a significant wave of anger on social media. Activists called for the urgent reform of the early childhood sector and for tightening employment and oversight standards within daycare centers, to ensure the safety of children and prevent the recurrence of such painful incidents.
