تحوّلت إحدى مناطق العاصمة الروسية موسكو إلى ساحة فوضى بعد اندلاع اشتباكات عنيفة بين مجموعة من الرجال المسلحين بأدوات حديدية ومجارف، في حادثة صادمة أثارت الذعر بين السكان وأدت إلى إصابة خمسة أشخاص وتخريب عدد من السيارات.
ووفق شهود عيان، اندلعت المواجهات قرب مجمع بروكشينو السكني، حيث شوهد نحو 15 رجلاً يرتدون ملابس سوداء وأغطية للرؤوس يتجمعون في الشارع قبل أن يبدأوا بمهاجمة المارة وتحطيم الممتلكات العامة والخاصة. وقال أحد السكان إن المشهد كان «أشبه بمعركة شوارع»، فيما حاول الأهالي الاحتماء داخل منازلهم وسط حالة من الهلع.
وأعلنت الشرطة الروسية أنها ألقت القبض على 11 شخصاً من المتورطين في الشجار، ووجهت إليهم تهمة الشغب، مشيرة إلى أن جميع المعتقلين من العمال المهاجرين. وأوضحت السلطات أن الموقوفين قد يواجهون إجراءات ترحيل فورية، بينما تتواصل التحقيقات لمعرفة أسباب اندلاع العنف المفاجئ.
وذكرت صحيفة «مترو» البريطانية أن المهاجرين القادمين من آسيا الوسطى يتعرضون حالياً لضغوط متزايدة للانضمام إلى الجيش الروسي عقب الحرب في أوكرانيا، وهو ما يثير توترات متنامية داخل المجتمعات المهاجرة بالعاصمة.
وشهدت المنطقة المحيطة بالمجمع حالة من الارتباك، إذ هرع السكان إلى حماية أطفالهم وإغلاق المتاجر، فيما طوقت الشرطة الموقع وانتشرت عربات الإسعاف تحسباً لأي تصعيد جديد.
One area of the Russian capital, Moscow, turned into a scene of chaos after violent clashes broke out between a group of men armed with iron tools and shovels, in a shocking incident that caused panic among residents and resulted in five people being injured and several cars being vandalized.
According to eyewitnesses, the confrontations erupted near the Prokshino residential complex, where about 15 men dressed in black clothing and head coverings were seen gathering in the street before they began attacking passersby and destroying public and private property. One resident described the scene as "more like a street battle," while locals tried to take shelter inside their homes amid a state of panic.
The Russian police announced that they had arrested 11 individuals involved in the brawl and charged them with rioting, noting that all the detainees are migrant workers. Authorities explained that the arrested individuals may face immediate deportation proceedings, while investigations continue to determine the reasons behind the sudden outbreak of violence.
The British newspaper "Metro" reported that migrants from Central Asia are currently facing increasing pressure to join the Russian army following the war in Ukraine, which is raising growing tensions within the migrant communities in the capital.
The area surrounding the complex witnessed a state of confusion, as residents rushed to protect their children and close shops, while police cordoned off the site and ambulances were deployed in anticipation of any new escalation.
