تحولت لحظات من «المزاح» إلى كارثة أثارت الذعر، بين سكان أحد الأحياء الراقية بمنطقة التجمع الأول بالقاهرة الجديدة، بعدما تسبب «مزاح» أصدقاء في حريق هائل وإشعال النيران في عدد من السيارات.
وتلقت مديرية أمن القاهرة بلاغًا بنشوب حريق هائل التهم سيارة في البداية، قبل أن تمتد النيران بفعل الرياح إلى 5 سيارات أخرى متوقفة بجوارها، مخلفةً أضرارًا مادية جسيمة.
لا خسائر بشرية
وانتقلت قوات الحماية المدنية على الفور إلى مكان الحادث، حيث نجحت في السيطرة على الحريق ومنع امتداده إلى المباني السكنية المجاورة، لتنتهي الأزمة دون وقوع خسائر بشرية، لكن الصور التي انتشرت على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي لألسنة اللهب وهي تلتهم السيارات، أثارت موجة من التكهنات والادعاءات حول «حريق ضخم» يهدد المجمع السكني.
وتحركت الأجهزة الأمنية بسرعة لكشف ملابسات الواقعة، وكانت المفاجأة أن السبب لم يكن سوى «مزحة» غير محسوبة العواقب، حيث كشفت التحريات أن 3 طلاب يقيمون في المنطقة هم المسؤولون عن الحادث.
مزحة تحولت إلى كارثة
وخلال التحقيق، اعترف الطلاب بأن أحدهم، أثناء مروره بجوار إحدى السيارات، لاحظ وجود بقعة بنزين أسفلها، فقرر على سبيل المزاح إشعالها باستخدام ولاعة، ظنًا منه أن الأمر لن يتجاوز لهبًا صغيرًا. لكن النيران خرجت عن السيطرة في لحظات، وتحولت إلى حريق التهم السيارات المجاورة.
تم القبض على الطلاب الثلاثة، واتخذت الجهات الأمنية الإجراءات القانونية بحقهم، ليتم إحالتهم إلى النيابة العامة لاستكمال التحقيقات.

The Cairo Security Directorate received a report of a huge fire that initially engulfed one car, before the flames spread due to the wind to five other cars parked nearby, resulting in significant material damage.
No Human Losses
Firefighting forces immediately moved to the scene of the incident, where they succeeded in controlling the fire and preventing it from spreading to the nearby residential buildings, thus ending the crisis without any human losses. However, the images that circulated on social media of the flames consuming the cars sparked a wave of speculation and claims about a "massive fire" threatening the residential complex.
The security agencies acted quickly to uncover the circumstances of the incident, and the surprise was that the cause was nothing more than a "joke" with unforeseen consequences, as investigations revealed that three students residing in the area were responsible for the incident.
A Joke Turned into a Disaster
During the investigation, the students admitted that one of them, while passing by one of the cars, noticed a gasoline spot underneath it, so he decided as a joke to ignite it using a lighter, thinking that it would only result in a small flame. However, the fire got out of control in moments and turned into a blaze that consumed the neighboring cars.
The three students were arrested, and the security authorities took legal action against them, leading to their referral to the Public Prosecution to continue the investigations.
