ويأتي هذا القرار ضمن سلسلة مواقف مثيرة للجدل يتخذها ماسك في مجال الرقابة على المحتوى.
اتهام رابطة يهودية بالكراهية
في سياق منفصل، شن ماسك هجومًا مباشرًا على رابطة مكافحة التشهير
ADL، وهي من أبرز المنظمات اليهودية في الولايات المتحدة، متهمًا إياها بأنها «معادية للمسيحيين» وتعمل كجماعة كراهية. وكتب ماسك عبر حسابه ردًا على منشور معادي للمهاجرين: «الرابطة تكره المسيحيين، لذلك فهي تُصنَّف جماعة كراهية».
التشهير يشجع على العنف
وأضاف ماسك في تغريدة أخرى أن استخدام أوصاف كاذبة وتشهيرية ضد أشخاص ومنظمات يشجع على العنف والقتل، في إشارة واضحة إلى أن الاتهامات غير المسؤولة قد تؤدي إلى عواقب خطيرة.

In a separate context, Musk launched a direct attack on the Anti-Defamation League
ADL, one of the prominent Jewish organizations in the United States, accusing it of being "anti-Christian" and acting as a hate group. Musk wrote in response to an anti-immigrant post: "The league hates Christians, so it is classified as a hate group."
Defamation Encourages Violence
Musk added in another tweet that the use of false and defamatory descriptions against individuals and organizations encourages violence and murder, clearly indicating that irresponsible accusations can lead to serious consequences.
